I loved this book because its so cool when they have the fight with the henchmen of umbra to get into her lair and also when it turns out that valentine day’s dad is working for umbra and the phone that is the neutron
It was fiction and I like Russel he is a good tech person and I really recommend it to everyone and anyone
I think it was a brilliant book and I would like to read the sequel. It was a fiction book all about spy’s.My favourite character was an aged 10 girl named Valentine (Vi for short).
Really good and funny. I can’t wait to read the next book!
I would recommend this book because it is funny . I like how the characters are named "Valentine Day", "Easter Day", "Christmas Day".
It was really funny and had a lot of action in it
This book was not the best but good for me to read. It is a fictional book that is about Vi.
Her dad Is a supper villein and her mum is a supper spy.
The are divorced and Vi on her own had to save the world from a evil source.
This is a very good start to the series
I liked Russel best I would recommend it
this book is nice and if your looking for drama, action and friendship book this is the best book to pick so i give it a 4 out of ten but i wouldnt give you any spoilers you just have to read it to the end.
It was amazing as I am a diary book sort of person but I still loved this book
Another action and adventure book from Maz Evans! Unlike Who Let the Gods Out, this book is shorter, easier to read in terms of vocabulary, and there's no need to understand or know key historical/mythological figures as there are in the other book. It not only has the fun action elements of being a spy novel, but also has a lot of family and friendship themes, as well as moving from evil to good, throughout the book. There are a number of other books in the series, which could help to hook readers in as they continue the battle between villain and spy!
It was fiction. I love fiction. The main character Vi was adventurous and she is very good at keeping secrets which are important for being a spy.
This book is very good and interesting for spy and detective fans. This is the first book in the series and I would definitely recommend it!
This is a hilarious book. Perfect for little spy's to.
Vi(valentine) because she is a strong opinionated person and is not afraid to speak up when she has something to say it is a good book but it is not something I really enjoy but it is a good book don’t get me wrong but it is just not my ideal book to read but apart from that some people like these type of books and some don’t I am one of them the isn’t really a fan of these type of books but I would still recommend this to other people who like this type of book but it was a good book overall.
I really, really liked this book because it was very funny, full of adventure and action packed!
Vi is trying to get into spy school but her Mum, who is a retired spy and married to a super villan, doesn't want her to go to spy school. Vi's Nan is supportive of VI going to spy school because it is the family business. This book is all about Vi's efforts to go to spy school and take down a bad guy.
This was a fiction book. My favourite character was Valentine, Vi for short. It was really interesting and certainly suspenseful a some parts. Overall, it was a very good read and I would definitely recommend it to people aged 9 and over because some language might be difficult and people beneath 9 might not understand it. Thank you. Have a nice day. Bye
The book was fiction and Vi was my favourite character because she is full of surprises. I would definitely recommend it to someone else!
I loved following Vi as she discovered her hunch about her mum being a spy was correct and then uncovering the full family history. Gran added a good foil to Mum’s reluctance and some laugh out loud moments at the care home. I read this book ready for a move into Year 4. I thoroughly recommend it and will be sharing with my class. Looking forward to reading the rest of the series.
Valentine was my favorite character because shes kind and mysterious.
My favourite character was Vi, because she became a spy in the end. I would recommend because it's really funny sometimes
The book is good because it was about spy’s.It was fiction. My favourite character is Vi(Valentine Day).I would recommend it for anyone who likes adventure and spy’s.
I liked Vi the best, she had a lot of adventures. It was really funny because the butt looks big. I would recommend it to someone else.
A thoroughly enjoyable read from start to finish. Having enjoyed 'Who let the gods out' I was disappointed and read this in one sitting, laughing out loud to the cultural references and jokes in there. I especially enjoyed the thought of a battle robot called Agadoo who plays an 80's mix cassette tape, much like I did in my childhood. A must read.
It’s a great adventure, detective/mystery book.
I would recommend this book for 8-11 year olds. An exciting spy mystery book with twists and turns.
I would recommend it to a friend. It is a good book and I liked how Vi mum got busted when Vi told her are you a spy. And the Dad was a super Villon and turned out to be a good dad.
Awesome I would totally recommend it
A good fun to read book.
