Meet the Secret Explorers – a band of brainiac kids from all around the world. Everyone in this diverse group of young experts has a speciality, from outer space to dinosaurs, and each story follows a character who gets chosen for a “secret exploration”. In this fun, fact-filled children’s book, we join rainforest expert Ollie on an exciting mission to rescue a lost baby orangutan in the steamy rainforest of Borneo. Joined by engineering expert Kiki, they set out in a glider to search for the friendly ape. Along the way, they encounter greedy plantation owners who are plotting to destroy the forest to expand a palm oil plantation, and learn about the threat to animals and plants due to deforestation.

This book was a wonderful fiction book and I really enjoyed reading it. The story is about 2 children called Olly and Kiki who go on a mission to save a little orangutang. The book also tells you about things that hurt the environment. I really liked this book because it is an adventure book and I love adventures!!
In this book, the characters help the animals by stopping the trees from getting chopped down. Animals need to keep their habitats, but because people want to plant palm trees, other trees are being chopped and that means that many animals lose their habitats.
I would recommend this book to people who like nature.
I liked the book because it was funny.
I liked this book a lot because it talks about helping the animals. It tells the story of children who help the animals by stopping the palm trees taking over the other trees. People chop down trees because they want to make space for palm trees but this isn't so good because it takes away the habitat of some animals. People want to plant more palm trees to make palm oil, which is used as a food ingredient in a lot of snacks.
I liked it when they were looking for the monkey with the special fruit. It was a very exciting passage.
I also liked it when there was a stick bug on his head. It was very funny.
I recommend to other children.
