Not quite as good as other books but still really good.
It interests me because I like to read all the spells and see what they do
A dangerous spell cast on an unsuspecting village
Flies cuz she loves chore is scared of certain things and is an outsider
The book is very good and spooky
I would recommend the book
It was a very good book! I totally thought Miss Webb was the witch but it turned out she was Ivy made old! Anyway, I'm super excited to red the rest of the series! I also love the happy ending and tick tock forest and all the other cool places in Pendlewick!
I loved this book and would definitely recommend, it is the third in the pinch of magic series. My favourite part of the book was at the end where the two witches of the story are killed.
Really Good. A Plot Twist That Was Not Expected
Absolutely amazing! This is the third in the Pinch Of Magic series, and I guarantee you will be glued to the page from start to finish! A blend of sisterly love, mystery, thrills and of course magic.
Perfect for fans of Harry Potter and The House With Chicken Legs.
I think this book is amazing.
I think that this book is suitable for children around 9,10 or over. It’s a fiction book filled with lots of magic, witches and a race against time. I recommend this book as it is a very exciting book.
Another excellent adventure for the Widershins sisters.
This book is about family, witches and trickery.
I would recommend it.
It has hidden rooms and mystery
Michelle Harrison is my all time favourite children’s author! This story has my favourite characters Fliss, Betty and Charlie on another magical adventure after moving house. Something is not quite right in their new village and they are determined to find out what is going on. I would one hundred per cent recommend this book.
I really loved this book. The characters were all so amazing as usual and I loved the dangerous, gripping plot. In this series I love the different aesthetics in each book. I would 100% recommend this fantasy series.
Third in the series, nice to see the Widdershins again for another adventure. More spooky magical goings on, change of scene from Crowstone and the girls have to figure out what is happening to Fliss. An enjoyable read.
Loved it!
good book
I think the book was really good, and my favourite part was when Charlie and Fliss broke the rules in Tick Tock Forest. I would definitely recommend it, but it makes more sense if you have read the first 2 books, A Pinch of Magic, and A Sprinkle of Sorcery.
I loved this book and it was full of unknowing strange mysteries. My favourite character was Ivy Bell and Betty. Ivy Bell because she is unknown and she helps save Fliss. Betty believes in herself and she knows Fliss is cursed but even though Granny doesn’t believe her she carries on. This book interested me because I loved how it had unexpected surprises and twists. I would recommend it to anyone who loves a mystery.
It’s about magic and I would recommend it to someone else.
Ivy was my favourite.
It was good but at some points it was scary because of all the witches and dark magic.
I liked this book because all of the characters were really good and the story to it was super. My favourite characters are Fliss Widdershins and Ivy Bell.
It is quite a chilled book and explained what life was like in the country side but with a magical twist
It is about 3 sisters called Fliss, Betty and Charlie who live with their farther and granny. They move house from crowstone and the sorrow Isles to a little village. When they get there they see their new house, Blackbird cottage. The sisters find salt on every window or door and silver coins in every corner. They used to ward off evil and give protection. Who lived there that was so frightened of letting something in or even more sinister what could be let out..
A great magic and mystery book, slightly darker than the previous ones. Lots of secrets to uncover and a complex mystery for the Widdershin girls to solve. All is not as it seems when the girls finally escape the island and move to a country village. There is a tangle of spells to unweave for definite. As always the Widdershin girls are portrayed brilliantly and there is plenty of darkness in other characters. I’d recommend for year 9 to 12 year old confident readers.
I really enjoyed this book, it’s slightly darker than the previous pinch of magic books. The three girls finally leave the pub they grew up in to start a new life in a village. In the village there are two old shopkeepers who are pretty evil and cast a range of spells on the unknown. My favourite character was the old house keeper who seems terrifying and the secrets are slowly revealed. I’d recommend for year 5 and 6 confident readers.
