I learned not to laugh at others. Good book
We all are different
I liked this story because it was funny as the king had horse's ears!
The King is my favourite character, because he is important and special. I like him because he is a fast learner, and he realised he needs to change his way to become more honest.
This was a funny book to read.
I liked to read the story. Very interesting. Recommended.
Great I loved the ending
Very interesting book
I like this because it was funny
It was a funny story and also interesting I really enjoyed it
I think the King was scared to show his differences. If you have something that not a lot of other people have, it’s ok because it just means you’re special.
It was a good book with a happy ending.
It's a good book and a bit funny!
Funny short story!!
I like the king's ears. You're going to enjoy reading it too.
I thought it was funny. My favourite character was the King.
I didn't like this book because I felt bad for the king.
I have read about the king and how he wanted to hide his ears because he thought that everyone would laugh at him. The book was a funny story, it made me laugh. I liked the king best because I liked how he tried to hide his ears although he knew he couldn't hide it forever.
I would tell my friends about the book.
He was a good king who reigned long and well and he had no secrets from his people
Great story. No one should be ashamed of their appearance.
I think this is a really good book because I loved the idea of a king with horses ears. It is very imaginative. My favourite part was when the fiddle told everyone the kings secret - that part introduced an element of magic.
I think the message from this story is never keep your true person away from others - if the king had revealed his secret earlier he would have been accepted earlier. He shouldn’t have been afraid to be himself.
Boring but some parts were good.
its good
It was really weird.
Nobody has ears like that. I didn’t like it that he hated them. I loved it at the end when he was saying kind stuff!
In this story, the king had Horse ears, of which he was ashamed. So he tried his best hiding his ears either under his crown or by wearing a scarf. One day, he went to a Barber, who also came to know his secret. So the king locked the barber in the jail. After few months of repeated pleading by the Barber, the king set the Barber free and the barber promised that he will not tell anyone the kings secret. However, the barber could not keep the secret to himself, and he told the kings secret to a tree.
On kings birthday, a lot of people were invited, among them was a musician who was supposed to sing and play a violin. When the musicain started to play the violin, instead of a beautiful song the violin told the kings secret to everyone.Hearing this , the king was very sad and he thought that everyone was going to laugh and make fun of him. But to his surpise, no one laughed and everyone were very proud that their king was special and different and wise
Hearing this the king was very surprised and happy and after this, he never hid his long horse ears.
I really loved this book.
I think the King is bad because he locks the Barber up as he has discover the kings secret that the King has horse ears and locks him into the prison so he will stay in the caste forever which then nobody would know the kings secret.
The person I liked the best is the King's friends as when they find out the king's has got horse ears they didn't laugh at him but instead all people cheered.
Yes, I would recommend the book to someone else because as this able to let others people know even if you look different you don't need to be upset or believe that people would dislike you as there is always someone there that likes you.
I liked it when everyone cheered. The King was happy that everyone was being nice because he was worried that everyone would laugh at his ears. The sad bit was when the barber was ill from keeping the secret.
I like this book because the king was kind
The king thought that everyone would laugh at him because of his ears, but he didn’t know that everyone could be different and he was a special king. I enjoyed reading this book a lot!
The king looked in the mirror he has horse ears . He have to cover his horse ears because peoples will

The King had horses and he had lots of hats. The King trapped the barber.
