A fascinating chronology of the shocking medical bias against women, filled with real-life examples. It charts the fight women have had to get their illnesses recognised and to ‘be believed.’ Women still live with the legacy of misdiagnosis, mistreatment and unbelief; there’s evidently still much to be achieved. Adult read.
A fascinating journey into the history of women’s health and medicine over the centuries. It explains some of the many attitudes which exist in women’s healthcare today and gave much food for thought.
I would highly recommend.
