A mystery that only Enola can solve. Were is lord Dewkesburry?why did he runaway?
I listened to this on audiobook. There was lots of differences between the book and the film. It was quite exciting.
I loved how her mam went missing on her birthday and it leaves the story on a cliff hanger

I really enjoyed reading this book. It introduces you to the main character of Enola who is the younger sister of Sherlock Holmes. Great book if you like mysteries and daring action.

This book was unique, engaging, and adventurous, with an amazing story about a girl in 1880, who travels around England and tries to investigate where the young marquess had disappeared to and becomes a detective like her older brother-Sherlock Holmes.
It was written in a fun Victorian style and was very entertaining.

Incredibly interesting, exiting and brave. Enola is trying to find her mother despite her brother's reticence to help. Read the book before you watch the movie! I loved the whole book!

I really enjoyed reading this book.Also ,I think a good feature is that it is set in the 18 hundreds.I think my favourite character was Enola Holmes. I would give this a 5 star and would recommend this book to anyone who likes mystery’s.
I really like this book in the first series of 'Enola Holmes'. I usually love to read mysteries and action, so Enola was the perfect character for me! She has many famous connections, such as her brother, Sherlock Holmes, who she is currently running away from. She encounters many important people like marquesses and dukes, and has to help them locate missing persons. I love this book, full of adventure and secrecy, and would urge you to read it soon, as I definitely recommend it.

Absolutely loved this book. I thought it was a great way to introduce the Sherlock Holmes books to a younger generation and will surely inspire them to go on to read them in a few years. The Netflix show will capture their attention, particularly with the choice of lead actress and develop this knowledge of the past and associated language.
