The 117-Storey Treehouse is the ninth book of Andy Griffiths and Terry Denton’s wacky treehouse adventures, where the laugh-out-loud story is told through a combination of text and fantastic comic book-style illustrations.
‘The kind of book I would have loved as a kid’ – Tom Fletcher, author of The Danger Gang
Andy and Terry have added another thirteen levels of crazy fun to their every-growing treehouse! It used to be a 104-story treehouse, but it just keeps growing!
They’ve got a tiny-horse level, a pyjama-party room and an Underpants Museum and Treehouse Information Centre! But when Terry tries to prove that he can narrate as well as draw, the story goes completely out of control and the Story Police arrive to arrest the whole treehouse team for crimes against storytelling! And the only way to escape is through the terrifying Door of Doom!
Andy, Terry and Jill go on the run, but how long can they evade the Story Police and stay out of Story Jail?
Well, what are you waiting for? Come on up!
Climb more fun-filled levels by collecting all thirteen books in the seven million-copy-selling series – the perfect chapter books for reluctant readers.

This book has the best part of the treehouse in it. They get chased by the story police because Terry wrote a book with too many bad things in it. They go to jail because they entered the door of doom. They had a great idea to cut a hole with Terry’s spooncil (half spoon, half pencil) and escape. This book is excellent!
I couldn’t stop laughing! I love the new storeys
I love the dots story. It is incredible and funny. I want to join them if I could! At the end of the dots story, all people turn into different shapes. It looks like Picasso style. We have to imagine how would we be if we are in the same style!
It's amazing because the story police are after them and some more illustrators and writers come over to their treehouse. They get their book written in the end.
I love the Andy & Terry books because Terry always makes me laugh and they go on silly adventures. 117 storey treehouse was fun, the best bit was the story police who were chasing them both. Andy and Terry used dots to escape them!
It was a great book!My favourite part was when the story police chased Andy Terry and Jill.
I liked the book
I would recommend it.
i recommend this book it is soo funny! i like the tiny horse level
They went to the jail with Beatrix potty. They made books and gave them to their publisher Mr Big Nose.
Terry's funny dot story got me gripped until the end with the story police on his tail. And the filing monster also hilarious. Enjoyed this.
I love Terry's silly dot story but they then had to run from the story police and when they saw the filing monster , Little Peter Poopy Pants
and The splat in the hat .
I liked the ending ,because they had to work as a team to write the book.

I am just wondering does the storey police exist? { well in the book it does!}
I just got a bit annoyed at the part where Terry is scrapping because for five pages it just says scrap! [that is one reason I gave this book a 4. Also, there are not a lot of words, lots of pictures but not enough words
