I really enjoyed this book the storyline was great and my favourite characters were the odd sisters because they were knew to Rapunzels story and I would definitely recommend this book to a Disney Villain fan.
Very formal but still a good book
I just thought its about time someone made a backstory on tangled . 5 stars . Reccomended to Disney fans .
Twisted tale of the actual fairy tale of repunzel , the darkest witch of the tallest towers, a story of love loss sisters and flowers, brilliant and twisted
I loved this book because I thought it has some great emotions such as the feelings that she had when she destroyed her mother, her sisters died, the odd sisters betrayed her and when Rapunzel lost all of her hair right at the end.
I also love the description of this book and it sets the scene really well and I had a clear picture in my head all through the book as I was reading.
This is a fictional story. It's about a woman called Gothel who had two sisters, a very neglecting and scary mother and how she lost everyone she ever loved. This story is based on the fairy tale Rapunzel but it shows the villain's side of the story instead of the protagonist's side of the story. I loved this book as it contrasted how the villain was shown as to how the villain actually was. It was an amazing story. It was filled with lots of bone chilling moments that kept me on my toes. The character I liked the best was Primrose (one of Gothel's sisters) as she is very bright and optimistic. She adds a little bit of light to the gloomy story setting.
I would definitely recommend this book to someone else as I think they would enjoy reading this book as much as I did.
I really enjoyed this book. It's a story of love, death, horror, sisterhood and trickery. It truly tells you the unique story of Gothel. It can be a little bit scary however, that's how it is so various. This story shows that there is more to Gothel than meets her eye.
I loved this book because it was mother gothel's backstory to the well - known children's story book Rapunzel.
My favourite Characters are Lucinda, Martha and Ruby because they are full of magic and are also known as the odd sisters. They are some of the main people in the story and keep themselves young so that they will never die.
I really enjoyed this book, I thought it was full of excitement and suspense. I would definitely recommend it.
I like this book because I has a lot of fun things in it and also sad things in it
The story of how a cruel queen of the dead raised her three children up but for only one to turn evil like her and be maddened by the evil.
Yes I would recommend it. It is a really fascinating book that explains about Mother Gothel's past life and why she is evil.I liked Primrose (Mother Gothel's sister) the best. I think that it is an incredible book
1. It is completely impossible not to keep singing the song Mother Knows Best while reading this book. 2. I love the idea of having this book written from an all seeing narrator, and predominately Gothel's point of view. This story delves deeper into her past and does, DOES change the way you view her. I always quite liked Mother Gothel, kidnapping and confinement aside but this book almost turns the story completely on its head. It has been genuinely, very, very well constructed. If you love Disney movies and anything with a twist, then this is the book for you.
