Max is a young boy living in an ordinary tower block. He longs for adventure in his life – then one day – DOOF! – a flying pony called Kevin crashes into his flat, blown in by a magical storm!
The storm causes a huge flood and soon Max’s town submerged by water. Luckily for the town, Max has a flying pony to come to the rescue, and luckily for Kevin, he has a new best friend and a constant supply of his favourite thing – biscuits.
Together Max and Kevin will embark on many wild adventures together . . .
This is the start of a hilarious new series brought to you by the creative and inspiring duo Philip Reeve and Sarah McIntyre and is packed with amazing two-colour illustrations.

I liked the very cheeky sea monkeys.
I recommend this book.
This book was a fiction book. My faveroute character was Kevin as he loves bourbons and so do I. This book caught my eye on the shelf as I had previously read 2 other books in the series and enjoyed them. I would recommend it to others though this book is not for everyone .
I think it was funny whrn the book said his favirut food was biscuts.
I would highly recommend this author -illustrator team of Philip Reeve and Sarah McIntyre. All of the books they have worked on together are outstanding, including ‘Jinks and O’Hare Funfair Repair, Pugs of the Frozen North, Oliver and the Seawigs and Cakes in Space.’
The stories are always set in an alternative world with funny scenarios. The Legend of Kevin adds to their collection and I regularly recommend their books to teachers and our school community. The vocabulary is also a real strength, along with the creativity of character and plot.
