Her sister was so annoyed tom
This book had lots of references with real life, examples are characters that we can see in real life and in everyday situations.
I absolutely adored this book. It's the best 'Tom Gates' books I've ever read. I have to say, all those rumours spreading around the school were quite wacky and in the end I can't believe that the person making all that mess was a dog. The spreading of the message "We've got a new supply teacher and and she's called Miss Gravel" turning into a game of Chinese whispers was an extremely funny scene, especially when Brad came up to Tom and said "We've got a new supply of T-shirts and they're bright yellow with a carrot on them."I would recommend this book to you if you like cracking cases or laughing out loud. This book is hilarious!
it might be a bit scary for little kids so that's why I rated it 4 out of 5

In the school play, Tom is cast as the monster in Jack and Beanstalk, to pop up on stage and make people laugh.
