I liked this book a lot it was very unpredictable.
It was the only book from Michael Morpurgo I’ve not liked.
It was such a nice book but at the end it was so sad. But other than the ending, it was cool
Good book but i didnt like the ending of the story which was a let down for me
I love Michael Morpugo books. They are interesting and you can reading one book without stopping as you always want to know what happens next.
I really liked this book because they were making movie and there was going to be a dancing bear in it and there was a girl who was singing to the dancing bear. She got to go and explore the world and her dreams.
I got this book and it wasn't my favourite thing however I still read it because when ever I stopped their was always a plot twist so I always carried on and this book is nonfiction and I would recommend this book
I would recommend this because I thought it was good.
It was fictional, and my best character was Roxanne.
Yes I would recommend it to someone else!
A girl called Roxanne finds a bear cub .The book leads you through the story of the bear’s life
It was very sad at the end
This story is good for people who like the Michael Morpurgo or who if you want to start reading his books.
I enjoyed the excitement and the twist throughout the book.
This is such a traffic and happy story at the same time. It's has an awfully solemn ending, and a begining that just drawer me in. I was so surprised at the end when the poor bear died. It was even more miserable when the narrator said the line "I bet she never got it in the first place". That made me so sad. Honestly I recommend it to anyone who wants to have to cry. It was a super short read with 56 pages but those pages were worth it.
The narrator was a character in the story (the headteacher/headmaster).The bear leaped at her while Roxanne (who was the main character and an orphan) was minding her own business. She showed it to her grandfather and the head kept convincing him to say yes and he did in the end. They were happy together...
Until a film crew came.
I would recommend it because it's very good
I read The Dancing Bear by M.Morpurgo. l enjoyed this book because it taught good morals and was a very kind and caring story. My favourite character is the bear because he was always happy for Roxie and never wanted to go against her and her decisions. I would recommend this book to all age groups but maybe more advanced readers.
It was one of the saddest stories I’ve ever read but it teaches to respect animals.
It was sad. I would recommend it to someone else because it’s a short book, easy to read and happy and sad at the same time.
This book was amazing, and I could not stop reading it. It was about a community in a village participating in a film. One of the main characters, who was my favorite, was the dancing bear and he played a huge role in the film. However, there were a few situations in the story where it would turn out to be dull. Nevertheless, I would recommend this book.
I really liked this book even though it was sad at the end and made me cry. I think everyone should.read it.
I really enjoyed this book.
My favorite character was Bruno I recommend this to my sister
I enjoyed the book, but I thought that the end was too sad. I liked Tiny the best because he reminded me of my friend. I would recommend it to older children. It was too sad for a 7-year-old.
If I was to recommend it to someone it would be to any age of people like a Child or a teenager who has not yet red it.
I liked the bear Brono because he was a lonely and a kind 🐻 bear.
i think the book was ok, but it was fiction and it had a sad ending. I enjoyed the bear the most as it is quite cute. (I am a boy)
I highly recommend this book but I was quite upset when the bear died
This book is really funny and sad to
This is a very short book about an orphan girl, who finds a bear cub in the mountains. The girl really wants to take care of him, but her very grumpy grandfather, who only wants stuff to do with money, says no. Eventually the village manages to persuade him. Many years pass and the girl and the bear are happy. But then, a film crew arrives, in search of a dancing bear... It's not my favourite book, it's really just a short story without much adventure.
It was hard to follow at times
It's a short story about an orphan girl who finds a bear cub. She wants to take care of him but she has a really grumpy grandfather who only wants things to do with money. Eventually the village persuades him to take the bear cub in. The bear becomes very popular and after many years a film crew stops by. They want to make a film involving a dancing bear. But the bear only wants to dance when the orphan girl sings. It's not a very adventurous book, I didn't particularly like it.
I liked the bear when he was dancing. It was an excellent story. It was interesting because it taught us about people helping others. I would recommend the book
