I don't think I've ever learnt so much so quickly! This book is PACKED FULL of amazing facts that I didn't know about! I have taken great joy in sharing them with as many people as possible. The illustrations are gorgeous; the book is laid out in a way that is accessible - doesn't bombard you and put you off. Year 3 and up can get a lot from this book.

1. I thought this book will be about showing me animals not giving me facts.
2. Wales are mammals, they have to come to the surface to breathe.
4. This is a factual book and it interested me of the animal because when I grow up I want to be a zoo keeper.
5. I would recommend to share it so people can look after the animals properly and be kind to animals and not be strict.

There’s lots of animals to learn about in this book, and it’s very interesting too. It’s a very big book with nice pictures and some scary pictures like the viperfish!

A beautiful book that tells you the most interesting facts about a whole range of animals, some of which are common and some extremely rare. At the end there is a fascinating tree of life that shows how these different animals are related to each other. I think anyone with an interest in animal species would find this book hard to put down!
