Issac plays in his favourite pool on the mountainside. As rain starts to fall, he empties his little jar of water into the pool and races the sparkling streams as they tumble over waterfalls, rush through swollen rivers and burst out into the vast open sea.
Where will my little jar of water go now? Issac wonders. On the other side of the world, Cassi welcomes the rain to her parched village . . .
From tiniest raindrop to deepest ocean, this breathtaking celebration of the water cycle captures the remarkable movement of water across the earth in all its majesty. A stunning new non-fiction picture book from Greenaway medal-winner, Grahame Baker-Smith.

Boring
The book was really amazing, the illustrations were cool. I think everyone would like this book.
This book is fantastic, it has beautiful illustrations to inspire art learning and shares the story of the water cycle an i unique way, showing how water can be used and its importance.
I will use this book with the children in my class during our library sessions.
Lovely illustrations to the book and a lovely tale of Isaac and his pot of water. The story explores the journey of water around Earth.
The story was about nature. In this book the author showed about two kids in different places and about their weather. In Issac place it’s cold and floods. Issac played in his beautiful lake which was formed by the floods. In Cassi Place everybody are thirsty and they had less water. Her place was hot. I would recommend this book to know more about environment.
calming read befor bed
I liked that the boy followed the rain cycle
Beautiful
This book was incredible. This book was very short but enjoyable.
A glorious non-fiction text that translates beautifully in the classroom. It's perfect for poetry inspiration, re-telling and learning about the water cycle.
We used this for poetry in Y2, and re-telling where we pretended to be a drop of water being poured from Isaac's jar and the journey we went on.
I really liked this book , it was about issac's pool
I enjoyed the book very much. My favourite part of it was when he followed the river to the sea and met all the animals and discovered new parts of the world.
It was fiction and adventurous.
I would definitely recommend it to someone else.
I thought this was a good book. I liked the boy following his water in his boat and I liked the big whale.
I liked this book, it was a nice story about the journey water goes on.
I now understand better how rain is formed and how the sun makes the water golden.
