It’s been 11 years since Tom Clancy died but his Jack Ryan series is evergreen! This was published in 2012 and President Jack Ryan is dealing with the threat of China invading Taiwan. The Chinese are not only employing new anti-ship missiles to counter the USA, they’re also launching cyber-attacks on American infrastructure. The off-the-books intelligence agency known as the Campus (which employs Jack Ryan Jr.) enters the fray. I know this is now considered an old book but the issues raised in it are still relevant, which makes the story believable. It’s also a gripping plot, told at a great pace. I couldn't put it down.
