CTC Carries War 1 Vol

This has been my favourite book this year I really liked this fictional book and my favourite character was carries brother because he was really funny and grumpy and that was really funny I would recommend

I loved this book and I couldn’t put it down! I read it in one day and quite literally couldn’t stop reading it! I recommend it to anyone who loves wartime stories…

It was allright

It tells the story of a brother and sister who are evacuated to a village in Wales because of the world war. They are taken in by a grocer Mr Evans ,a very strict religious man, and his kind, caring sister called auntie Lou

Beautifully written classic evacuee story.

I thought the book wasn’t that good because all it does is talk about the war and mr evens.I would change the part when she throws the skull in the pond because it makes everyone sad.I would not reccomend it to someone else because they might get sad

Fiction great book

I thought this book was really confusing and I really do not like books about history! My favourite person anyhow was Mr Johnny because he was really clever but really shy. My favourite part (sort of) was when Mr Johnny was remembering who took the will. I would not recommend to people that don't like history books but if you do than you might like it - not promising anything!

A book everyone should read.

It was very interesting to see what it might have been like to be an evacuee in the second world war. I liked the way Mr Evans and Mrs Evans were two completely different people. I really enjoyed this book and would recommend it.

I thought it was sad how Johnny was treated by some of the characters. I liked the story.

I love this book because it is sad and exciting and I learnt that it was tough being an evacuee

My favourite character is Aunty Lou because she took Carry and Nik into her home!

It was a great book and how carrie and her brother had an adventure and made loads of new friends such as Albert and Auntie Lou. If you haven't read this book you really should because its awesome.

I really liked this book and think you should read it because it is a really good read. It is pretty serious about some of the stuff as it is set in war time, which was interesting and you also find out history stuff about the war too. Winner!
