A gorgeous new Little Gem from Jonathan Meres (World of Norm), inspired by his father’s 50 years as a market trader, and in collaboration one again with Grandpa was an Astronaut illustrator, Hannah Coulson.
Priya loves helping out at the stall her family have run for donkey’s years. But one day she meets Stan. His dad sells everything from dog treats to fish tanks – just like the Sharma family! Priya is horrified, but Nana-ji is on hand to offer lessons on the balance sheet of life. High quality cream paper and a special easy to read font ensure a smooth read for all. TweetReviews
fun
I like this book because it is a book that you can remember this as a lesson that when there's a problem just take a break and have a bowl of ice cream.
I love it
I really enjoyed this book and I liked the part when priya went to the market cafe with nana ji and got her favourite ice cream and also when nana ji said all competition is good competition child, it was kinda funny when she said that
Gran-ji is my favourite because she was the one that said it gives you a kick up the backside. And she was also the wise one. Her daughter had a stall and the daughters daughter was aloud to wander around the market on her own.
This is a story about a girl called Priya who both go to the cafe to eat mint choc chip ice cream. This is a nice story an easy read.
It’s my favourite ice cream and every time there was a problem they went to the cafe to buy ice cream.
It was ok.
My favourite character was her Gran because she was funny and kept winking.

I think mint choc chip is favourite book I read so far It Is a fiction book
It is friendly and there are lots of children that make friends. It is really nice.
I think this a 2 star book because it is boring as it is about some stalls and retail parks. I liked Nana-ji the best as she was really patient with the stalls and about building a retail park. I wouldn't recommend this to someone as this is a boring book.
A short, sweet book about how people can learn to live alongside each other instead of forever seeing each other as rivals. Features an ethnic minority main character and family members as the central cast. A little script-like and sparse in its narrative style, but this lends it a charm and simplicity that befits the age and age-based outlooks of the main characters.
I like this book because it's all about a girl called Priya and her grandma, Nana Ji. It talks about Priya meeting Stan who just moved into her neighbourhood. At first, her family didn't like him because they had a shop like theirs. But at the end of the story, they saw on the newspapers there was a bigger shop that had everything, so they went to the cafe to eat icecream to think. But Nana Ji said it's ok to have competition.
I liked it because it was happy, funny, and sad.
It was a fiction.

It was a fiction book. I liked the character Nana-ji. I would recommend this book to others
The book was very good. The main reasons for why I enjoyed the book were;
1. The book covered a lot of cultures and not just one.
2. I liked it how the author didn't write about his own culture, because many authors write about their own culture.
3. I liked it when all the people from different cultures became friends.
