Our Reading Group really enjoyed this novel. It has a clever plot with lots twists and turns and lots of interesting characters. Beautiful descriptions and lots of references to literature, politics and culture of the period.
This was our second book we read. Not something that most of our bookworms has read before. We really enjoyed the book and how it pushed us to read out of our comfort zone. We enjoyed the descriptions of Russia and could just imagine the hotel.
