Podkin is the son of a warrior chieftain. He knows that one day it will be up to him to lead his warren and guard it in times of danger. But for now, he’s quite happy to laze around annoying his older sister Paz, and playing with his baby brother Pook. Then Podkin’s home is brutally attacked, and the young rabbits are forced to flee. The terrifying Gorm are on the rampage, and no one and nowhere is safe. With danger all around them, Podkin must protect his family, uncover his destiny, and attempt to defeat the most horrifying enemy rabbitkind has ever known.

Insanely good it was so nice the words were very like how do I put this you're able to imagine it in your head and there's only like what a very nice picture every 20 to 30 maybe 40 pages which is incredible I love this book and I would recommend it to anyone who likes to read this book it is the best five out of five no doubt this book is extremely good you must read it otherwise you haven't lived. Apparently in the book The three rabbids which are named podkin paz and pook who are running away from the gorm which is a type of disease that like spreads through rabbits and when it corrupts you like spikes come out your body your body now is no it looks like it like it's made of like we're not really made of like maybe looks like it's covered in iron armor but it's actually the iron armor is your skin and soon you might look normal but then the the metal is gonna like make spikes coming out of your skin that's how they the author expressed
It’s the best book I’ve ever read in my entire life!
It was exiting with loads suspense and action
Lovely character description - the children really engaged with this book.
I like this book because of all the adventures and all the interludes when the children can be silly. My favourite character was Brigid because of the story she told. I would recommend this to children and adults.
I loved this book! It was exciting and adventurous but sad in some periods.

The Game of Thrones of the rabbit world.
Exciting and dangerous
This book was really exciting and I would recommend it to anyone, even young children if someone can read it to them. It's not scary at all, just exciting.
This is a really good book because it has a lot of adventure and is really exciting to read.
This book is about a rabbit called Podkin who has a big sister Paz and a little brother Pook. Podkin's father is the chief of one of the warrens. All is peaceful and calm until one day the terrible and terrifying Gorm arrive and the 3 siblings are forced to flee their home without their family. Will they find a way to defeat the Gorm once and for all? Read it to find out what happens to the rabbits and why Podkin is called One-Ear.
it is scary but then extremly gripping and exciting and it takes you on 2 adventures i would recommend it everywhere and anywhwere
I found it hard to get into this book and didn't think I was enjoying it, but I really liked the last few chapters and the ending.
This is one of the best books I have read. the story is amazing. Rabbits meet Lord of the Rings! It is full of excitement, danger and feels very real. There are some very scary moments and you feel really sad too. I love Podkin's character but his sister Paz is really cool. I am reading the 2nd book now and it is brilliant, lots of exciting plot twists! I would recommend you read this, it is has everything a great book should have and you can't stop reading it as at the end of one chapter you want to know what is happening next so you don't want to put down the book.
This gripping story is beautifully written, also I couldn't put the book down!
When Podkin's burrow is attacked by a terrifying enemy, he is forced to flee. Can Podkin save his parents? Can he defend his father's magic dagger? Can he defeat the worst enemy known to rabbitkind?
