What can I say! Fantastic book. Includes suspense, short snappy sentences, empty language and lots more. I would rate this book 10 if I could. Great recommendation for people interested in Ancient Egypt and the dark secrets inside. Love this book. I would read it anywhere.

This was really interesting. I felt sorry for the boy King but very pleased for Howard Carter. I'm glad that he didn't sell everything but saved them for the museum.

I bought this book as I was doing Ancient Egypt, so I thought it would be a nice addition to the classroom. Thanks to the detail within and how much the class loved the book, the whole topic focus became the story of Carter and his discovery of Tutankhamun. The book is packed full of interesting information and anecdotes. It covers Carter's childhood and later life and has many pages dedicated to the Egyptian Pharaohs. There is so much to look at and find out about, that we didn't ever get to the end of it, so the children were still poring over it several months later. Highly recommended for any child interested in mystery and history, and for any class studying Ancient Egypt.
