I enjoyed Giraffes Can’t Dance because it has a nice message about being yourself. I liked how Gerald doesn’t give up even when the other animals laugh at him. It made me think about how everyone has different talents and you shouldn’t worry too much about what other people think.

I would recommend it to young children, especially ages 3–7, because it is easy to understand and has colourful illustrations and rhymes. There aren’t any major content warnings, although some children might not like the parts where the other animals laugh at Gerald.

It was really good. I liked the end because the animals and Gerald could dance.

I liked that the animals thought they were in a dream but they weren't and that Gerald danced so well at the end. It wasn't very kind of the other animals at the start of the book to say that 'giraffes can't dance'.

Gerald because he tried dancing

Very good book!!! I really love this story and I like to read it again, and again, and again. Gerald, was struggling to dance because his neck eas long and slim, his knees were awfully bandy and his legs were rather thin, but he didn't give up. He learned to feel the music and did a fantastic dance, which impressed everyone! We all can dance, when we find music that we love!!!!

I enjoyed reading Giraffes Can't Dance. It is a fiction book about a giraffe called Gerald who wants to dance, but the other animals laugh at him because he is different. My favourite character was Gerald because he was kind and never gave up. Even when the other animals made fun of him, he kept trying and eventually found his own way to dance.I liked this book because it teaches readers to believe in themselves and be proud of who they are. The story is fun and the illustrations are colourful and exciting.I would recommend this book to other children because it has a positive message and a happy ending. It shows that everyone has their own special talents. Overall, I would give this book 5 out of 5 stars.

I liked it when the cricket told the giraffe that you just need a different song than others. I believe that everyone can dance, if they want to, just like Gerald!

It is really funny to see all the different animals dancing, my favourite is when the lions tango with a rose in mouth. But I think its great that Gerald dances at the end and all the other animals really like it.

My mum read me this book all the time from when I was a baby. I like to look for the grasshopper in every page because sometimes he is hidden or really small. He is always there with the giraffe. It’s a good story about being yourself and having fun dancing.
