When robot Roz crash lands on an island, she’s forced to fight for survival. The only way Roz can live is by learning about her new environment from the island’s hostile animal inhabitants. But when she finds herself taking care of a baby goose, all the animals pitch in and teach Roz how to thrive in this new world.
Heartwarming and full of action, Peter Brown’s debut will raise thought-provoking questions about the role technology plays in society, how humans affect the world around us, and what it means to be alive.

I liked BrightBill the most because he learns to fly and stuff.
I would recommend it because it is a very nice book.
The Wild Robot is an exciting and thoughtful story about a robot named Roz who wakes up alone on a wild island after a shipwreck. At first, the animals are scared of her, but over time she learns how to survive in nature and begins to understand the world around her.
I enjoyed this book because it is both adventurous and emotional. Roz slowly changes from a machine into a caring friend and protector of the animals. The story shows how kindness, learning, and cooperation can help someone belong, even in a completely new place.
The writing is simple but powerful, and the illustrations help bring the island and its animals to life. There are many exciting moments as Roz faces storms, wild animals, and the challenge of raising an orphaned gosling.
I would recommend The Wild Robot to children who enjoy adventure stories, nature, and characters who grow and change over time. It is a touching and memorable book with a strong message about friendship and acceptance.
Good
Lovely story and pictures. I enjoyed how the relationships developed
Great story line , gripping read.
Brilliant descriptions and an exciting and motivating story for a class of children to enjoy .
I enjoyed had Roz blends herself in with camouflage
One of our new favourites
I liked the robot best because it’s smart and funny
I would like to add another 50,000 stars to my rating for this book because even though it isn't funny it's full of cute characters. I don't usually like sad books but I liked this one because it's just a little pinch of sadness like a little pinch of sand. I loved the fact that the chapters are short because you can read it quickly. It's quite small writing but because the chapters are short it's not too hard.
It’s really good
A lovely book about friendships and working together.
I thought it was a sad ending because roz ended up with her legs and arms blowing up but in beginning it was happy because she made friends and even one of her friends were son I would recomend this book for people that like robots
Explored differences, and how we can embrace this in our community
It was a really fun fiction book I really liked the squirrel and fox because they are really funny I would definitely recommend this because it’s really funny and full of different animals
This story was good because it’s about a robot finding peace on an island and making new friends.
What a fabulous book! One to broaden perspectives on shaping relationships, encouraging positive social behaviour, and promoting the importance of community.
This book is a fantastic vehicle for learning in multiple subjects—art or design, English, Science, PSHE, and ongoing lessons and discussions regarding the promotion of democracy, the rule of law, individual liberty, mutual respect, and tolerance—the national standard of British Values promoted in schools. This book especially could offer a wealth of inspiration in language devices and techniques for children when creating their own stories or poems, motivating them to use new, rich, and vivid vocabulary after understanding first hand how it enhances a writing style and therefore challenging them to continue to read and learn through individual research or amongst their peers, encouraging academic discussion within a creative context.
I liked the short chapters and the quick read nature of this book. The idea of the robot learning and adapting to the wild was good but I felt not enough really happened in terms of adventure or excitement. There are still lots of questions left unanswered, clearly done so for future books.
I liked this book because I saw it at the cinema first and then I read this book. Reading was even better than watching it, because I love reading and you have to read, there are also a few pictures.
Really enjoyed this book. It was very expressive. I liked the fox the best because he becomes very friendly. I would recommend it to someone

Perfect fiction book about the nature. My favorite character was Brightbill. I would love to have a robot friend.
It has happy and sad parts.
I loved it when he saved the little egg.
I liked how Roz adopted Brightbil, but my worst bit where long neck got shot.
I read half of the book and I remember that I read this book a long, long ago but I remember it all (nearly)
I really enjoyed *The Wild Robot*! Roz is my favorite character because she’s brave and kind. I liked how she learned to live in the wild and made animal friends. I would recommend this book to others!
Beautiful. That's basically the main thing I have to say. But there are other things that put it into 5 stars too. Such as how funny it can be, and basically just the way the story flows and the characters. Oh yes, and how could I forget, how ridiculously short some chapters are!
It is a sad story
