A slow burning, beautifully written story of Cora and the tale of the Essex Serpent and how her search of this fabled creature intertwines the lives of her friends and those she meets in Essex. It's not everyday such a wonderfully crafted novel is offered to a book club, and our Preschool Parent's book club thoroughly enjoyed it.
