I thought that this was a really mysterious murder book.
My thoughts on what I have read are that I didn't expect Arundel to be the murderer.
My favourite character was Rose because she was determined to get to the bottom of the mystery of all the murders.

Just when you think you have figured out who the murderer is you will hit another twist in the tale. a definite page turner that will keep you hooked right to the end. Recommened read.

If murder happens in a posh household it’s a big deal. Especially when it actually happens in the Raventhorpe family home.

For me, I think this book had some advanced words that I didn't understand. There was some stabbings going on and Miss Rose Raventhorpe was determined to solve who the Black Glove Muderer was. The person in the book I liked best was Heddsworth because he is a protecter and he is willing to do anything for his friends. Not only that he is a very loyal man. I think this particular book was intresting because it was a bit like a horror movie squashed into a book and it was very mysterious. I would definitely recommend this book but maybe to a teenager so that no one quite young would get scared.

This is a story about a girl, Rose Raventhrope whose beloved butler Argyle is found brutally murdered at the doorway of her own hall. This murder is one in the series of three in the week.She then goes on an adventure with her friend Emily Proops and Argyle's butler friends to find the murderer, the Black Glove. At the end, the Archbishop's butler, Arundel is found to be
guilty. He wanted to take the place of Argyle as Rose's butler. Finally , the story ended with the house getting a new bulter, Heedsworth who was Argyle's best friend.

I liked the book as at the end of the adventure , though it started with a brutal murder, it ended on a happy note. By reading this book, we can understand that even a kid of our age can turn out to be brave. I would like to recommend this book to my friends because of the adventure and story of bravery.

Absolutely thrilling!
Couldn't wait till the end.
