It is an interesting book about a girl loves reading books and getting more books to read.

i like Matilda the best because she is brave

I liked reading this book because although Matilda is a small character she is very brave to stand up against Miss Trunchbull. Idont like that her parents are mean and dont care about Matilda like her brother Mike. I love Miss Honey and her caring soul towards Matilda, I love how she decides and agrees to caring for Matilda in the end. Another thing I didnt like was that Matildas parents just agreed to Miss Honey to looking after her without a second thought. Mr Wormwood is someone who has no brains because his workers bring stolen cars for him to fix so at his workshop he changes the number plates and resprayed the bodies with paint and reset the speed. Also Mr Wormwood puts sawdust in the engine with the petrol to give it a good boost before the car doesnt start again.
The character that I liked the most was Matilda and Miss Honey because Matilda is smart and loves reading books and Miss Honey is kind and is a wonderful teacher.
I would recommend it to someone else.

Matilda has a bad family who don't care about her. She is intelligent and can read by age 2 years. She eventually goes to school and has a teacher called Miss Honey. She asks the Head Teacher, Mrs Trunchbull if she can go up to a more senior class, but Mrs Trunchbull says no. She is not a nice lady. So, Miss Honey goes to older classes to get some books for Matilda to read because she is so advanced. Matilda reads the books and she practices every night when her parents are asleep. She keeps going to school until she follows Miss Honey to her house and she now gets invited every day after school and soon Miss Honey wants to adopt her. Matilda agrees. Miss Honey gets an adoption form and Matilda's parents eventually sign it. Matilda now lives with Miss Honey, happily every after.

My favourite character is Miss Honey, because she is so sweet to Matilda, just like her name!

I loved this book it was amazing I kept on reading until the book finished . this book is about a girl called matilda she is really talented but her parents don't care they think she is a liar and a cheater. she finally goes to school and her amazing teacher miss honey loves/ cares for her so much. However miss trunchball hates everyone in the school especially little children.

My favourite character is Matilda as she is very kind. I like the part where Miss Honey confronts Miss Trunchble about her past. I would recommend this book as it is about kind people.

I really liked this book because Matilda is such a smart and brave girl. My favourite part was when she used her special powers to scare Miss Trunchbull—it was so funny and clever! I also liked how kind Miss Honey was and how she cared about Matilda when no one else did

I liked the bit with the newt in the water jug

This was a fiction book about a girl who loves to read. Her family don’t send her to school but when she goes she becomes close to her teacher who adopts her and takes her home.
The head teacher is a mean lady and she is horrible to the kids.
I loved this book and I would recommend it to other children to read

She is such a wonderful girl who loves reading. She deserves to have Miss. honey with her.

This is the second time I have read this. I am enjoying it more this time because I know all the people who are awful to Matilda will actually get what they deserve.

I like Miss Honey the most because she treats everyone like they are her own child and my favourite character is Matilda.My favourite part of the story is at the end when Matilda does magic on Miss Trunchbull the meanest person who lived on the pages of a book.I think the chocky is the not a nice place to go to.

I like it because at the end Matilda got to live with Miss Honey and Matilda's parents cared about her first time. My favourite character is Miss Honey because she is nice and polite. She treats people as the same way she wants to be treated. I recommend someone to read this book because it got a happy ending and it's a very nice story about very talented young girl. It makes you feel like you want to be Matilda right now.

I enjoyed that Matilda read books over her age because it was very impressive and she was AMAZING! Matilda can multiply any times tables because she read a multiplication book. Reading this book helped me with my multiplication! I would recommend you to read it too!
