Imagine a vault so cavernous that it could contain all the world’s greatest treasures and relics, from mummified remains of ancient monarchs to glistening swords brandished by legendary warriors. Who could be in charge of such a vault and how did he come into possession of such a unique collection?
Follow the epic journey of Professor Brownstone’s earliest ancestor, Arthur, as we travel back to the age of the Vikings where the evil wolf Fenrir is on the loose! Can this inquisitive but shy adventurer find the courage to save his village and defeat the mighty beast?
Joe Todd Stanton’s detailed and lively illustrations take readers on a journey across the ancient world, filled with magical objects, old gods, and mythical dangers to be overcome.

I like the story and the illustrations. At the end of the story the Wolf tricks Arthur and then Arthur tricks the Wolf. I also like the different mythical creatures including the Wolf. I'm happy that Arthur is the hero of the story.
I recommend getting other books from this collection.
I liked reading about Arthur's adventure with the Viking gods because he was very brave. I've given the book 4* instead of 5* as I wish the book was a bit longer. I would recommend it to slightly younger children who like adventure books.
I liked that it's an adventure story. Must read for people who like adventures.
It is an amazing book
This book was a little bit scary but Arthur was so brave, I liked how he asked for help but also defeated Fenrir, it was really cool
I would love to explore this vault.
I loved this book. It was exciting and engaging and I really love how it told the story of not just Arthur, but the whole family.
I would recommend this book! It is a fictional story based upon Norse mythology. The art style really caught my attention and I really like mythology as a whole so I think it fun and interesting way to introduce to children who learning about Vikings. My favourite character was Astrix because she was the rational character who thought of the solution to save the village.
nice pictures, cool twist .
i love pictures
I enjoyed this because Arthur found rare items
It was good. Arthur was my favourite character. I liked that it was about about Ancient Rome

I like this book becouse there are bad guys .the charecter that i realy like is fenrir
I liked that the Fernir was tricked.
I now know that I am not a reader of myths and legends - they do not interest me but, the children who I have read it with have been fascinated by it.
The character Arthur, comes across visually as small and not very robust but at the story moved on, it can be seen that Arthur is very focussed on his task to same the area from where he comes. The small experiences he encounters are quickly told and so the story moves with pace.
I feel that the illustrations are what makes this book and why it appeals to children because their inference skills are needed to really get to grips with the narrative.
Arthur is brave and proves everyone wrong to save his town.
It was great.
this book is full of surprises like when Arthur had to hide from the wolf Fenrir
I love the family vault and the stories linked to the exploring family. The illustrations are lovely and your imagination can go wild.

I enjoyed this book and illustrations and especially when Arthur caught the sound of a cat’s footfall and picked a mountain’s roots.
It’s my favourite book as Arthur loved adventures like me.
Also, he was a brave boy and tried all challenges given to him.
My favourite part was when Arthur tricked the wolf by the fake hand
I really enjoy this weird and wonderful book of adventure and bravery
Really good adventure story
A great comic-style book that we used within our Vikings topic! The pictures are lovely and the story helps introduce all the Norse Gods in a universe separate from the Marvel films.
