Edge of Extinction (Edge of Extinction, Book 1)

I liked the story; but not as good as other books I have read.

This book is full of knowledge which I never heard about Dinosaurs… I have learned so many new words.

I read this to my dinosaur obsessed son as our bedtime book.
The story is set in the aftermath of a global pandemic which wipes out most of mankind (it seemed rather apt!) allowing genetically engineered dinosaurs to take over the earth and forcing the remaining humans to take refuge in underground arks. A young girl and her friend escape their ark to search for her missing father. The story takes her on a journey through dinosaur infested lands as she follows a map found hidden inside her father's old compass. My 9 year old found it very exciting indeed.

Definitely recommend this book.
It's packed with action, adventure, twists, and dinosaurs. It's also funny in places so it makes for a great read!

I chose 5 star because this is a pillow cluching book, I couldn't put it down.

I really enjoyed this book because it's grapping and it leaves you with mysteries to solve!
