Max Crumbly is about to face the scariest place he's ever been: South Ridge Middle School. There's a lot that's great about his new school, but there's also one big problem--Doug, the school bully whose hobby is stuffing Max in his locker. If only Max could be like the hero in his favorite comics.

This book is yet another fictional book and is all about school life. I didn't like the parts of the mean boy, Thug. I did really like the characters Max and his crush. It interested me because it was about school life and I thought it was a good diary type of book.

I like when Max Crumbly has to escape from the burglars who were stealing the school computers.

I think the book is very funny because Max Crumbly is scared of everything. I like the bit when he steps in the toilet, that is out of bounds. I think this book is fiction because it is not a real life story. I would recommend it to my friend Tamzin because she likes Dork Diaries.

I thought this book was really good and I would recommend it to fans of Dork Diaries and Diary of a Wimpy kid . My favourite character was probably Max cause he's so overdramatic and dorky.

This book is about a boy named Max Crumbly who attends South Ridge middle school who is bullied by a boy named Thug Thurston, who one day shoved him inside a small locker on a three day weekend! After escaping, he found out that there were three robbers stealing very expensive computers so he tried to stop them ( with help from his friend Erin)by going to the main office to call the police. My favourite character in this book is Max because he loves superheroes and is always trying to compare himself to a superhero in any situation. I enjoyed this book very much and would definitely recommend it!
