Hilda can never sit still for long without setting off on another adventure. She can’t resist exploring her enchanting worlda place where trolls walk, crows speak, and mountains move. The magic and folklore of the wild, windswept North come alive in this book about an adventurous little girl and her habit of befriending anything, no matter how curious it might seem. While on an expedition to illustrate the magical creatures of the mountains around her home, Hilda spots a mountain troll. As the blue-haired explorer sits and sketches, she slowly starts to nod off. By the time she wakes up, the troll has totally disappeared and, even worse, Hilda is lost in a snowstorm. On her way home, Hilda befriends a lonely wooden man, and narrowly avoids getting squashed by a lost giant. My favorite character is Twig. This is a comic one and very easy to read and understand. It is about trolls and giants.
Hilda is nice. I like twig
I liked it when the Woodman kept on coming into Hilda's house.
I would recommend this book to others
Was quite a strange book to be honest! It was very appealing due to the graphic novel layput and there were some wonderful characters within the story, such as Twig and the Wood Man. He actually made me laugh out loud when he was demonstrating very strange behaviour! A quick read with a disappointing ending.
I liked it because I like the trolls. I'd suggest it to a friend because it's funny.
It wasn’t the best as it was a bit short but it was a good comic.
I like this book because it it’s another Hilda and the book is much shorter than the normal ones. but I did read in a graphic novel that was mixed up with Hilda and the midnight giant.
I like beacouse have lots of different creatures.
I liked how she hung a bell on the Trolls nose and it looked like it was going to eat her but wasn't really! I would recommend this
its a really cute story and my fav is twig! his a fox and a deer
I didn't like the comic style.
This was a very sweet, short graphic novel. I loved the colour palette, and how the author could convey emotions in just a few lines or words! I am excited to read more in this series, and see how the story develops. I would’ve liked a little more narrative overall, and more explanation of some elements of the world! I would definitely recommend it to others.
I give this book 5 stars because it was amazing and Hilda, the main character had tatchy (turquoise ) hair.
This book is about a girl called Hilda who likes drawing and is an adventurer. This is also a series on Netflix. It is a graphic novel but there are also books.
Amazing character, nice art

I would highly reccomend this book. It is bursting with adventure
This book is a good book for people who like fantasy wonderland types of book. The book is about how a little girl named Hilda heads off to the mountains to find a rock to paint. She does find a rock but its a troll rock that follows her home.
I love this story and the world Hilda inhabits. The many wonderful creatures and the adventures Hilda embarks with them.
A little bit scary but also cool and funny, I liked Twig the best because he is very fast and sorted out the task. It is good for 7 year old children.
