This is the first book in the FUNNYBONES series and introduces the skeletons – a big skeleton, a little skeleton and a dog skeleton. The skeletons venture out of their cellar one night to find someone to scare, but everyone is in bed so they amuse themselves by scaring each other and playing with the skeleton animals that live in the zoo.

Skeletons in this are really funny
Other people should read it because it's interesting
Mummy read this book. I loved this story. I liked the dark.m and the skeletons. I liked when the dog bones broke.
The pictures was funny with the skeleton family. It has lots of smaller words as well so I can learn them.
Another regular favourite
My favourite bit is when they frightened each other
I liked it when the dog got put back together all wrong because it was funny.
My favourite character in this story was the skeleton dog. It was funny when he bumped into the tree and the other skeletons had to build him back up again!
I loved this book!
I liked it when they went to the park and when they did cool awesome stuff on the swings. They almost killed their own dog, because, the dog bumped into the tree and the stick was heading to the tree! That's how it got into a pile of bones.
I liked the doggy best because he fell apart and said some really funny words. I would recommend it who really like Halloween and scaring people.
I liked it when they scared each other

It’s a really good story because near the end they jump scare each other. They have a great song.
It is a bit funny
This book was very funny especially when they mixed the bones up and tried to rebuild the skeletons in the wrong order.
I like the rhyme at the beginning and the end.
I like it
I really like that one!
I felt sorry for the little doggy when it banged into a tree
The story was funny, and I liked the pictures.
They were taking the skeleton dog for a walk and playing fetch. The skeleton dog shattered in the park and they had to put the skeleton dog back together!
I like to sing the song "the toe bones connected to the foot bone"
I read this book with my 5 year old daughter and we both love to read it together, it brings me back to my childhood reading it and we sing the songs together. It is a great book for the family
