Most of our group found this a harrowing read. The "twist " at the end was not expected.
Overall we liked the book.
We had not read any of the other books in this series but a couple of members were going to try some of the earlier ones
This is a gritty crime novel. Two young girls are missing, possibly dead. and detectives are determined to find evidence that will enable them to obtain justice and closure for the families. Not a comfortable read but gripping and not at all straightforward. Can any evidence be trusted?
