TIME-TURNING – TREACHERY – TRANSFIGURATION
Seven magical stories, one epic adventure.
Praise for the Harry Potter books:
‘That rare thing, a series of stories adored by parents and children alike.’ – Daily Telegraph
‘A phenomenon … Grown men in suits have been spotted with them on trains. Parents squabble over who gets to read them to the kids, and teachers say a chapter can silence the most rowdy of classes.’ – Guardian
‘One of the greatest literary adventures of modern times.’ – Sunday Telegraph
‘Spellbinding, enchanting, bewitching stuff.’ – Mirror
‘The only thing wrong with it is that you can’t put it down.’ – Fiona Chadwick, 9 years old
‘It is very funny. I would love to be Harry and make up some magic spell to play on my teachers.’ – Tom El-Shawk, 11 years old
‘My mum loved it so much she would not let my dad read any of it to me.’ – Alexander Benn, 7 and 9¼ years old
‘It’s for all ages and it’s brilliant.’ – Katrina Farrant, 10 years old

I liked how they introduced some more background for him.
My favourite character is Harry because he is really smart and brave. I say this beacuse when he saw the deer, he immediately went to Professor Lupin to teach him a spell to make them go away, and he was really brave to make that happen. I would recommend this book for others because it has a lot of vocabulary, and it is really interesting.
In this book, the way Professor Snape treats Hermionie as a bad 'know it all' and the way buckbeat nearly dies feels so sentimental
I love this book because it has a fun story, includes obstacles and it is funny. Even though it contained blood, this was an excellent story. I would really recommend it to someone who is not scared of the word DEATH...
I think this book was amazing because it had lots of twists and surprises. I liked learning about Sirius Black, and it was exciting when we found out the truth about him. My favourite part was when Harry and Hermione used the Time-Turner to go back in time—it felt so clever and magical! I also liked Buckbeak the hippogriff because he was such a cool creature.
I love the Harry Potter books but I think this is my favourite.
I really enjoy the series, and this the third book I think is my favourite. Even as an adult, it allows for a bit of escapism and magical fun. Who doesn't love that. I would recommend this book to older primary readers, who can also give thought to some of the underlying messages and "issues" presented in the characters and also even the author herself.
I think it should be noted that as the books progress, there is a "darker" element that needs to be considered. Turmoil around death, sadness about loss, etc. are themes older children readers might need some healthy discussion and consideration. it should be noted also that issues around bullying need to be addressed - particularly in regard to Snape's behaviour toward different students.
I think a warning or even just some guidance should be given on being aware of issues around sterotyping and exclusion - some of the contexts and characters may raise questions about that. And again, being aware of the author's recent public stance on trans-people and the questions around inclusion, bigotry and the influence public figures have or shouldn't have.
Sirius is my favourite character and my favourite part was when they used the time turner to go back and save Sirius
It was a good story whoever likes magic can read this my favourite is heroine
Harry Potter was the best because he finally learned how to use his pratronas
Excellent
Absolutely amazing. I really did like Sirius Black because he's actually really kind. It was a surprise finding out he wasn't the bad guy.
I love harry potter . I woch to the number 4 movie. My favourite character is Hermionie!
It was very good.recommend it.
it is a fun fantasy story the best bit is when they time turn and save Sirius Black and hermoine is my favorate
Harry Potter 3 is a fiction book.
I really enjoyed the ending where Harry and Hermione travelled back 3 hours to save 2 innocent lives.
My favourite character is Harry because he had lots of adventures, and solving mysteries.
I would recommend this book to someone else because they would really enjoy all the interesting things that 3 students do to save people.
It was really interesting with lots of interesting language
A muderer has escaped from prison of Askaban to kill Harry Potter
but he solves it
Dramatic with lots of things going on, so it’s quite confusing to keep up with! It’s an interesting book as it has a lot of stuff to include in your brain to make it pop out - so you have to get your head around it. I liked it as it has a lot of things to think about
My favourite character in Harry potter is Hermione and Ron.
I really like the ending!
This one isn't one of my personal favourite but i would still recommend it to other . i find it fascinating how they go back in time and their old self's this they are different people.
I recommend this book because it’s thrilling. It’s also pretty emotional.
I like Harry Potter the Prisoner of Azkaban because I think the dementers which have rotten flesh which protect Azkaban the magic prison are really cool because they look strange and like a zombie but different colours. I like the part where they think Sirius Black is an evil wizard but he is actually Harry Potter's godfather.
This book is about magic and mystery. In this book danger and daring risks are everywhere. This creates tension and suspense. This book is for all ages and a good choice for a long read. I have enjoyed reading this magical book and highly recommend it to other readers who are in search of a great book.
interesting
In Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, there is a prisoner called Siruis Black, who is Harry Potter's godfather and my favourite character is Hermione. I recommend it to someone else because it is really hilarious, adventurous.
A real favourite book of the series.
I love how the book has a different feel to the first two, Harry is growing up and his outlook on his problems are too. I love how this one delves into his family history and we meet some of James and Lily's friends and also learn a little bit about Snape- and who doesn't love how he blows up (or inflates) his aunt!
As with all HP books, JK creates a world that you love to escape into the only down side being that your visit to the world is too short.
I recommend this book for readers who are over 9 to read independently, it could be earlier if a parent is reading to the child.
Really interesting and makes your heart race at times
I loved it but i feel really bad for sirius cos he was getting blamed for murdering 13 people when it was his un-loyal ex friend Peter Pettigrew but at least harry saved him and buckbeak !!
Another great book in the series, little bit more grown up, but better than the last, really good, looking forward to the next one.
