I really enjoyed the book because it had some jokes in it and I also liked it because I like to read murder mysteries. My favourite characters are Nick and Tim- don't know who to decide. I would definitely recommend this to my friend

I scored this 4/5 as it is described quite well. It is a mystery book which I enjoy and the author kept us waiting to find out who committed the crimes.

I enjoyed reading The Diamond Brothers in The Blurred Man. The Diamond Brother Series is all about a detective, Tim Diamond (whose real name is Herbet), and his ‘kid brother’ Nick. In The Blurred Man, Tim and Nick investigate the death of Lenny Smile as Joe Carter is suspicious of his friend being run over by a steamroller. Eventually, the brothers discover that two of Lenny Smile’s ‘colleagues’ had made up the character so that they could steal money from the company and had pushed a policeman into the path of the steamroller to make it look like Lenny Smile was dead.

It was funny reading it

I think that it is a gritty book which means there is a lot of deaths and action. I think people from the age of 10-14 should read this book since there is shooting and detective work in it. I know that people will like to read this fiction book.

Wonderful description and superb images created by Horowitz. Perfectly suited to Years 3 and 4. First time reading Diamond Brothers to the class, they have all loved it and want more. Definitely would recommend to others who have not yet tried them. Subtle jokes entertained the more able children but lots of adventure and guessing for everyone.

I love this mystery book. I would recommend it to people who love suspense.

It was good but also quite scary. It gave me nightmares. Mum says maybe it was for older children because they went into too much detail about the murders and death.
I liked Tim best because he was funny even though he was the eldest brother.

A great book on the cunning mind of villains and heroes this book is all about hardboiled wit and is for people who like reading about mystery and crime. It is for people at the age of 8.

I thought that this book is a really funny book because Tim makes up really funny jokes. My favourite character is Tim because he is really funny these are some of the jokes he says when he is meeting somebody who has ran over somebody in a steamroller he starts of with "It must have been a crushing experience "a man asks" would you like a drink" Tim says "yes how about a squash" the man says "So he lives in a house" and Tim says "FLAT" Because he lives in a flat and thats just a few of his jokes so read this book and you'll laugh out loud.

I enjoyed these books because they are about mysteries and they're my favourite type of books. They are also very funny books because they use a lots of puns like when a man was run over by a steam roller it said 'it must have been a crushing experience', 'would you like a drink of squash?' and 'nice apartment - I mean flat!'
My favourite character was was Tim because he was the funniest and used the most puns.
I would recommend it to children 7 years old and up because it has a lot of killing in it.
