Schoolgirl detectives Daisy Wells and Hazel Wong are at Daisy’s home, Fallingford, for the holidays. Daisy’s glamorous mother is throwing a tea party for Daisy’s birthday, and the whole family is invited, from eccentric Aunt Saskia to dashing Uncle Felix. But it soon becomes clear that this party isn’t really about Daisy at all.

It was so good! It was very exciting and mysterious as the book take you to a crime scene. It makes me want to read more and more of it! It is a book full of emotions like roller coasters between the two main characters:Hazel and Daisy. It’s the perfect book to balance out friendships, arguments and mysteries. There was an unexpected twist at the end that was amazing!
I absolutely loved this book. I am currently reading the rest of these books but this one was good. (Spoiler alert later btw= skip if u don’t want to know) I loved Daisy’s cunning sense of mind but I honestly prefer Hazel as the better character here; she just doesn’t launch herself into danger like Daisy here! I would honestly recommend it to anyone here, because I used to not like murder books, but after reading Murder Most Unladylike (which is the first book), Arsenic for tea and First class murder, my mind has certainly changed. Now for my spoiler alert!
The murderer is… (drumroll please)
Stephen!!
A young boy who wanted to get revenge on Mr Curtis (the victim) for taking something that is lawfully his (his father’s watch) so that shows that anyone and everyone (except the detectives of course) are suspects!!!
Thank you for reading .
The characters are all stuck in a mansion and there are floods which means that they cannot leave the house.
There are two murders which means that there is a murderer loose in the house. They could strike at any moment and kill any one of them.
I felt sorry for the killer because he was doing it because he was living with his mum and they were really poor.
I still think that he should not have done it.
I would recommend this book to 8-12 year olds.
Love this book
I liked this book, because I liked how we got to see daisy's house and meet her family. The plot of this book was fantastic and really got my head thinking! Would definitely recommend this book!

The second in my favourite series. In this fiction book, two detectives Hazel Wong and Daisy Wells are at Daisy's house in Fallingford for the holidays, and Daisy's birthday. But when one of their guests is poisoned, they must find out who. And everything points to poison.
would recommend to sherlock holmes lovers
I thought it was really interesting because there are a lot of things that confuse Daisy, Hazel, Kitty and Beanie. Things look bad from Lord Hastings’s point of view near the end…

I really liked this book because it was full of tension and it was super funny too. This is definitely a fiction story, and I would recommend it to nine to eleven-year-olds.
It was an awesome murder mystery and I absolutely loved it! If you like murder mysteries, then this book is for you! I would also recommend this book to those of you who haven't yet discovered the wonders of reading and to start with this book.
It was a good book about
This book was so exciting I loved the drama and the atmosphere and would recommend it for anyone who loves a mystery!
This was the most fabulous murder book and mystery book. I have probably ever read because with two murders it must’ve meant that the murderer previous history with the guests (some of them). This was the best book ever. I can’t even describe how much I loved. It is just so much to it and the way that someone pushed lady Hastings over the stair railing and poisoned Mr Curtis, with arsenic in his tea I absolutely loved it and Dr Cooper was cool, but at the start of the book not to mention, Lord Hastings acting utterly suspiciously, like you know, shouting at Mr Curtis to leave, and all that other things he did, but he was also kind of weird how he put salt into Mr Curtis‘s cup and I thought he could be the murderer, but then it all made sense that Stefan was the murderer because Mr Curtis, was a thief. And he fools people into thinking that their stuff is worth nothing, and then he takes it and sells it for lots of money. I don’t blame Stefan for what Mr Curtis did to his family, but murdering him is a bit much. I absolutely loved this book 100%.
Amazing book absolutely great! Would recommend to age 9 - 13
Heartwarming
Amazing, mysterious, what more could you ask for in a book?
Excellent sequel!!
I really enjoy all the murder most unladylike books including this one. I would recommend it to people who like murder mystery, have read number one or like the author.
I really enjoyed this book because it was very mysterious and when everyone thought it was Lord Hastings it was actually Stephen.
It was the best book I have read
This is the second book after Murder Most Unladylike, and I adored! You have to read it if you’ve read the first one, it’s simply outstanding. Every single little detail works out and it leaves you pondering for hours. A murder mystery you’ll never forget!
Amazing book series! You should definitely read it!
I loved the thrills
I really liked this fictional book because it was fun and interesting. It had a twist and I wasn't expecting the murderer. My favourite character was Daisy Wells because she is very clever. I would definitely recommend this book to other people.
