Pippi Longstocking is one of the most popular children’s characters of all time and is still much loved by millions of children today. This anniversary edition of Pippi Longstocking in the South Seas will introduce Pippi and her adventurous spirit to a whole new generation of readers. Nine year old Pippi is an unusual and unpredictable character, she lives alone with a monkey, a horse, and no rules whatsoever! Every day is a crazy adventure with Pippi, but what else
would you expect from the daughter of a swashbuckling pirate captain?!
In this collection of stories Pippi and her friends, Tommy and Annika, set sail for the Canny Canny Islands, where Pippi’s father is king. They explore secret caves, and play marbles with real pearls. Luckily the pirates and sharks they meet are no match for Pippi Longstocking!

I loved this book because I found it very adventurous. I felt that I was in the book, and the only human to experience it. If there were more than 5 stars I would have scored it above 5 stars.
COOL
I thought it was great because its about a small adventurous girl who is also funny. I really loved Pippi because she always is a kind hearted spirit. I would recommend it to my friends because I think they will love it.
Pippi is the strongest person in the world. Her father drowned apparently, and her mother we don’t know but Pippi can look after herself. Pippi is on an adventure! Again! Pippi gets an amazing visiter, her Dad! He is a canary island King! Pippi will pay a visit to the island! But DISASTER, some sailors appear and are after the pearls. Can Pippi defeat them and keep the pearls on the island? Or is this the end for Pippi…
I would certainly recommend this book as it is well thought out, fun and exciting. A brilliant book.
Bit racist.
Superb book. Full of comedy about a little girl.
This one was even funnier than the first 2 Pippi books

I like it because it's funny.
The book was about a girl whose name is Pippi Longstocking. She is an extrordinary child because she can lift a horse. Her father Captain of Canny Canny Island wants her to come with him and sail to Canny Canny Island but will she leave her friends?
I really enjoyed this book and I really enjoyed it pippi is my favourite character because she is different from every one else.
I thought that this book was very funny. I liked this book because Pippi is always making up silly words and stories. I think that my favourite character has to be Pippi. This book interested me because Pippi is so different to me. I would recommend this book but I think you should read the first and second books before this one.
I love it !
This book is not like the utter two in a good way in the sense it is more adventurous! I would recommend this book two anyone who loves funny adventures.
I absolutely loved this book even though the print was super small and it took me a long time to read it. It was a lot like the other two Pippi books I have read-she was adventurous, funny and she didn’t have a care in the world for anything adult like such as paying bills and tax. In this book I loved Annika best because she is very sensible a bit like me. I gave this book five stars because and I would recommend anyone who loves adventure to read it.
I liked it when Jim and buck nearly got eaten by the sharks.
It is a good book about a girl named pipi who lives on her own and she goes on a holiday to her dad who is the cannibal king who lives on a island
Have you ever given a shark a good telling off? Pippi has!
Do you know what a squeezle is? Pippi does!
Can you carry your dad on your shoulders? Pippi can!
Pippi, Tommy and Annika are off on a great adventure-a trip to the Canny Canny Islands, where Pippi's farther is king. They explore secret caves, play marbles with pearls, and luckily the pirates and sharks the meet are no match for Pippi! The sequel to Astrid Lindgren's first national phenomenon, this book is one you will never want to put down!
