The 39-Storey Treehouse is the third book in Andy Griffith’s and Terry Denton’s wacky treehouse adventures, where the laugh-out-loud story is told through a combination of text and fantastic cartoon-style illustrations.
‘The kind of book I would have loved as a kid’ – Tom Fletcher, author of The Danger Gang
Andy and Terry’s amazing treehouse has thirteen new levels! It used to be 13 storeys, then 26, but they keep expanding!
They’ve added a chocolate waterfall you can swim in, a volcano for toasting marshmallows, a bulldozer-battling level, a baby-dinosaur-petting zoo, a not-very-merry merry-go-round, a boxing elephant called the Trunkinator, an X-ray room, a disco with light-up dance floor, the world’s scariest roller coaster and a top-secret thirty-ninth level which hasn’t even been finished yet!
And this year Terry has created the greatest invention that he—or anyone else—has ever invented . . . a Once-upon-a-time machine that will write and illustrate their entire book for them!
Well, what are you waiting for? Come on up!
Climb more fun-filled levels by collecting all thirteen books in the seven million-copy-selling series – the perfect chapter books for reluctant readers.

really exciting and quite funny and is imaginative
Fiction. Favourite character was Terry because he’s great at inventing lots of things and sometimes really really silly
I thought it was funny when the whole universe was gone.
I liked everything about this one!
I love the series but especially this one since it is so funny, fun and random. It is fiction
My favourite person was Andy and Terry.
I liked when one of the machines was slapping them. I would recommend it.
Is a super funny book about two best friends, Andy and Terry who live in the coolest tree house ever.
They keep adding floors to their tree house. In this book it has 39 floors with crazy stuff like a giant swimming pool, a secret underground lab, and a 75 flavour ice cream machine.
In the book they go on funny adventures and solve problems, like catching Professor Stupidio who uninvents everything and getting him to uninvent himself to save the world. Inventitons like the Once Upon a Time writing machine. It’s full of jokes and weird things that make you laugh. There are lots of drawings which make it even funnier.
I could not stop laughing in chapter 9 and re-read sections again and again in character voices and laughing. There were dot-to-dot rockets and marshmallows and Andy can’t count he blast off.
I would recommend this book to children who like an easy read with silly jokes and over-the-top situations that children find hilarious. The illustrations are great.
I think that it is a really funny book about Terry inventing the Once Upon a Time Machine that writes book. My favourite person is Andy because he is very focused. It interests me how Terry draws everything even the universe after everything got uninvented. I would recommend this book to people who likes reading humorous books.
I really enjoyed this book because it was really funny !
It was a very good book. It was about two people named Andy and Terry who had a treehouse with 39 storeys. It was fun but it was a bit too long.
Brilliant read. Really enjoying this series
It was very funny!
The book had lots of pictures in and it had a good story
My favourite park was when the trunkinator 'PAF'ed Andy right in the Noggin.
My favourite character's were; The silly penguins thinking of sardines.
They added another 13 storeys.
More fun adventures with Dave and Andy
Humour 7/10. Still, Terry is quite dumb. Would recommend
Crazy, wacky and random. My favourite character is Terry. I recommend.
Professor stupido is my favourite character because he is so stupid and silly
I really like this fiction book as it is very funny. My favourite character is Terry because he is funny and good at drawing. My favourite moment in the book was when the 39th storey treehouse got un-invented and Terry and Andy had to go to Jill's house and sleep with all the animals.
I like Terry and Andy
It was funny
I liked this because it was funny and had a lot of adventure .
I would recommend this book to people who like the genre comedy.
i really like professor stupido
lots of creativity in this book ...one of the best
This book is hilarious and is definitely one of my favourites.
love how Terrey re-writes reality would recommend to others
Soo good
They have to sleep in a bed with all of Jill animals and it is very uncomfortable
They went on a moon trip to the dark side and they went to meet an inventor called Professor Stupido. Terry and Andy wanted to see if Professor Stupido could uninvent their once upon a time machine because it had hands and it wouldn’t let them get back in their own treehouse. I gave this book five stars because it was adventurous and funny.
