Even before she came to Belton, Minty Cane had known that she was a witch. Minty is the kind of girl who notices things. Pockets of cold air on a stairway. Ghosts. On night-time jaunts from the house where she’s staying while her mother recovers from an accident, Minty stumbles upon a moondial which takes her back in time.

It was really cool, and a really good book. If you like ghosts this is the book for you.
My favourite characters are Sarah, Tom and Minty.
Yes I would recommend this book.
An amazing fiction. Ghosts and Ravens. I wouldn't say it is as spooky as people make out. But still a great novel. It starts getting more spooky towards the end. I will leave it at that as not to give away any spoilers!
it was a great book, I liked it because it was about Time travelling and they couldn't figure out what was happening. I liked aunt Mary the most as even though she was a grown up she didn't know what was happening. id recommend it to people who have watched back to the future and people over 10.
I enjoyed the mix of fact and fiction in this book. Nice links to Belton and surrounding area and the slightly spooky aspect of the book is a ideal for children before they read more thrilling reads. Links to past and present which is interesting and obvious when this switch happens in the book so not confusing.
Wonderful story telling with lots of suspense and time travel.
I didn’t really like this book as it was a bit boring and confusing
I really enjoyed this book because it is intriguing and full of mystery!
I found it very spooky which is good because I like spooky books!!
I would recommend it to people who like traveling back in time.
It was interesting but it was not my type of book
it is creepy but interesting
It is a cool book but it is a bit creepy so watch out...
Moondial is an awesome book but at first it's quite hard to get into but if you carry on by about Chapter 6 it gets really exciting. It's about a little girl called Minty Cane who finds a moondial which everyone thinks is a sundial. It takes her back in time where she meets a kitchen boy called Tom and they travel in time together as Minty tries to get back to her own time. On their journey they meet Sarah and if you read the book you will know what I mean when I call her the Devil's Child...
i love this book
