Meet Cassidy. With her embarrassing dad, pregnant mum, loser brother and knicker-chewing dog, she’s almost invisible in her family. So she’s hoping Year 7 is her time to shine, especially since a test proved she’s Gifted & Talented. The only problem is she picked her answers at random. But surely the school wouldn’t make a mistake about her genius?

This was a fun book to read. I'd say it would be ideal for year 6 children as Cassidy is going into year 7, and worries about how she is going to be embarrassed by her older brother and the hand me down uniform. She is a great character and at times I could see a little of myself when I first started secondary school.
This is about Cassidy who is 11 she is going to high school tomorrow and she is thinking what it will be like. She thinks it will be horrible because when she was little she was called nappy knickers.
I liked the main character Cassidy because she had to face lots of problems and she fixed them by the end of the book.I would recommend it to someone
Brilliant. Love it.
I loved the book because I enjoy reading about people's lives and this book is talking about a girl called Cassidy and she has a brother called Liam and her mum is pregnant and she likes this boy called Nathan and she doesn't like her brother especially when he is in a band. In the book it also shows that there school(St. Jude's) has a talent competition and before her brother competes, her mum has went to hospital. They rush to hospital and her mother has a boy and a girl called Joshua and Ethel. Cassidy also has friends called molly and Shenice.
This was a strange book. She went to a new school and took a test and she did the best but they just mixed up the test. And every thing went wrong
Full of excellent fun
Cassidy was my favourite character. Because she thought she was really clever when she really wasn’t.
Yes I would recommend it.
I loved it! It was funny and captivating. I also liked the dog, Rolo! He was naughty as well! He chews everything!
I really liked this book and I would definitely recommend this book.
I could relate to the character, the story is funny and interesting, I didn’t want to put it down.
I love this book because the characters are so life like and very relatable. I love the ending as you certainly don't expect it. I would definitely recommend this book to someone who was between 9-13
It was very clear. My favorite character was Cassie. I'd recommend it to my older sister Lotte.
This book was very funny and full of twists and turns. Everything goes wrong but is fine at the end. I liked the detailed illustrations.
An exciting and funny book that is a great read!
I really love this book because it relates to me since I'll be going to secondary school soon. It's really nice to have read a book in Cassidy's perspective. I love how Cassidy goes through a lot during this book: when she looses one of her best friends to her horrible older brother, when she tries to impress the coolest and smartest boy using her intelligence (but it doesn't work) and her mum gives birth to baby twins. Cassidy realises her brother may not be so horrible and to be herself.
Its a good book.but next I will read something else
a side-splitting cringe-factor!!!!!
its dorky and great fun you have to read this book!
This book is about a school that has a talent show. Cassidy and Liam's mum is expecting twins, but in the meantime there is some trouble going on ... Read on to find out more!
Completely Cassidy is a good book! If you see it in the library take it and read it. If you don't like give it to your friend! I'm sure your friend will like it. Its a funny book so read it! Trust me, you will love it!
Very funny, best for ages 8-10
this is the first book of a hilarious series of books - Karen McCombie thinks that it is ''A total cringe-fest and total fun!'' and I totally agree!
Total cringe-fest
I think you should read this book because it has a bit of humour in it. Also it has a lot of drama in it so it is like the people having a tantrum and they are over dramatic.
Her mum is pregnant, she has an underwear chewing dog and an annoying brother. She took a test and school and picked her answers at random but somehow she is now the class genius.
This book is amazing cassidy has an annoying brother a pregnant mum and an embarresing dad would she ever be the center of attention now she is when her mum and dad get sent into the head teachers office at secondery she finds that she is doing very well with her learning and gets put into the school`s quiz will they win?
great
I have never read Completely Cassidy before, and I really enjoyed the book! It was the first one in the series, and the next one is Star Reporter. It was set out like a diary, written in the first person( Cassie's own words) Mum was going to have twins, born on Boxing day, but instead born on the same day as St Jude's Got Talent. Shenice and Cassidy also fell out with bestie Molly, who went off with Cassie's older brother. Read the book to fnd out what happens next!
Boring to me.Might not be for U
