This book is full of spine tingling mysteries, friendship and fun!
I loved this book because Ivy is told to act like her sister Scarlet ( after she died) and she met a friend called Ariadne and it was all about how to piece together the diary entries from her sister then they found out that Miss Fox is the mother of Miss Finch then Miss Fox ran away and Miss Finch took Ivy to an asylum to try and find Scarlet and her roommate Violet then they found her.
Ivy and Scarlet are twins but, when Ivy hears that Scarlet died at Rookward school she is devastated. So Ivy will have to take the place of Scarlet at Rookward school. When she goes to Rookward school she finds the pieces of Scarlet's diary. Can she find all of them with the annoying Penny and strict Miss Fox and unlock the secret and find out if Scarlet is actually dead or alive?
The plot is so intriguing right from the start. Ivy is at a new boarding school, and her twin sister Scarlet is in serious trouble. There’s something creepy and really mysterious going on, and Ivy is determined to figure it out, even when it seems like no one believes her. The way the author builds suspense is insane—I kept flipping pages because I had to know what was going to happen next.
I loved how mysterious it was and how many twists in the plot even at the end you didn’t know who it was. It was so cleverly written that it kept you guessing.
I recommend this book because it is very thrilling, I love Ivy the most.
This book is fiction.
It’s about two twin sisters, Scarlet and Ivy. Scarlet goes missing, and Ivy has to go to her creepy old boarding school to take her place. But nothing is normal there — the headmistress is scary, there are secrets everywhere, and Ivy has to figure out what really happened to Scarlet. I couldn’t stop reading because it was full of mystery, clues, and twists! I loved Ivy because she’s really brave and clever. She doesn’t give up, even when people try to scare her. I was on the edge of my seat the whole time, and I wanted to shout when she found secret notes from Scarlet!
My favourite character is Ivy because she is smart for finding the clues leading to her sister.
This book was absolutely great! It was filled with mysteries and puzzles. Definitely recommend
I absolutely love this book it includes mystery and murder which are my favourite categories in stories. Ivy goes to Scarlet's boarding school to be her and solves her diary.
Had me invested from the very start! I love solving mysteries as the story progresses, though nothing could have prepared me for what happened at the end!
This was the best book i’ve ever read. After every page you never want to stop reading. It’s a massive mystery and such a really good thriller. When I heard there were 5 more to read, i got sooo excited! I can’t wait to read them. I have never been so involed in a book. Best Book EVER!

It was a good book
I really liked this book but I thought there could of been a more mysterious and creepy ending. My favourite character was Ariadne because she was a more shy character in her classes but in general she was up for alot of things.I would recommend it only if the person who is reading is all right and used to a creepy time of writing!
I liked Ivy because when she went to the school, she was very shy but in the end she had to stand up to an evil teacher to get her sister back.
