The Blackheath library reading group is reading 'the birds and other stories' by Daphne Du Maurier each of the stories are well wriiten and gripping. Each story manages to capture the imagination. I agree that the 'birds' although a short story manages to skillfully build up the atmosphere. I found it really creepy and chilling. Definately a halloween treat!
