I liked very much this book. My favorite character was Soot because he was kind with Stella and he saved her from Alberta.
My favourite character was the butler, he was pretty silly. I would encourage anybody who likes funny stories to read this book.
This book was amazing
I love this book because i like all the pictures and adjectives.
I like David Walliams books
So much fun
I’m a big fan of David Walliams’s books and this book is also in my wish list of books. (there are only books by Walliams in my wishlist) This book is incredibly funny, interesting and has a unique ending with the newsagent ,Raj , having written a complaint note about him not being in this book! I’ve also noticed that in every single one of Walliams’s books, there is at least one part about bottoms. Rude!
A great book with a good mix of scary, sad and fun!
Loved it
My favourite person was Stella she is so smart. The bit i loved was where she is friends with the owl Wagner and when she does tricks and funny things to her awful auntie, I really enjoyed reading this book.
I can't belive an aunt could be so awful. The author was one of my favorite David Williams. So it was very intresting and good to read.
To be honest I hate this book
Really fun book. The obsession with owls is very entertaining. Recommend this book. Another fabulous book from this author.

I like it
It’s about a girl in the Victorian times. The girl finds out that her ghost friend is her uncle. My favourite character was Stella, because she was very brave and she tried to defeat her aunt. I would 100% recommend this book because it was funny and mysterious.
this is a really funny book because Stella tries to escape from her dreadful Auntie
It is very interesting and I never get bored of all the great pictures inside it!
I think it was funny.
Love it
Very exciting and fun
My favourite part is when Stella and Soot plot to prank Aunt Alberta!
Very scary and suspenseful
It was sad happy and funny i would recommend it to anyone who likes sad happy and funny books.
It is about how Stella Saxby defeats her Aunt Alberta. Her aunt is like Ms. Trunchbull in Matilda. I like Wagner the best he is a very smart owl. I would recommend it to people aged 8-11. It is quit a good book.
This is a fiction book. I like the character of Soot the most because although he has a very tragic story, he is also known as Uncle Herbert and he helps Stella crack the mystery of how her parents died. What I don't like is that Alberta has been disguised as Strauss (her 2nd favourite German composer) and when she reveals herself she introduces Stella to the owl rack. I will definitely recommend this book.
I thought it was really adventurous and maybe even a bit creepy
I liked Stella the most because she never gave up. I loved the end because it ended up as a orphanage but a very fun one.
