Great idea for a plot and a nice pace of drip feeding plot points and reveals. Took a while to get going and felt a little dated with gender roles and the context of the rats.
I liked this book because it had rats that got captured and would recommend it.
This book teaches you to respect all animals even the worst ones and to think about everybody and everything's feelings.
It was a bit scary but I enjoyed reading it.
Good and enjoyable
I really liked this book when Mrs Frisby met the owl . Then when she met the rats, they wouldn't even let her in the first time she came!
This is a brilliant book because there are a lot of intense adventures.
I liked Nichodemous, because he made a lot of sacrifices and was extremely nice to Mrs Frisby and her children when they were starving.
I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys adventures, animals and an intense story line.
It was a fictional story about super-intelligent rats. My favourite character is Timmy. He was ill but the rats helped him along with a super-intelligent mouse.
I LOVED IT! It was a bit sad when a rat called Justen dies and Timothy nearly dies as well.I think it is a very touching story,i would highly recommend it to people who like adventures!

I really enjoyed this book and found it sad when the rats moved. I liked the bit where the rats escaped from nimh and though I do like cats I was not a fan of Dragon. My favourite character was Cyintha.
I loved this book. My favourite character is definitely Mrs Frisby. She is very brave and it has a happy ending.

My auntie said this was her favourite children's book. She reads lots and so I knew it was going to be good. I really enjoyed it.
I recommend Mrs Frisby and the Rats of Nimh because it was scary but exciting at the same time. I loved the part where the rats tell their daring story and how they created there house.
This book is basically about a rat called Mrs Frisby and her son, Timothy, is ill with pneumonia. So, Mrs Frisby goes to see Mr Ages and he says that Timothy should have medicine and not breathe one single breath of cold air. On moving day Mr Fitzgibbon ploughs the field but their house would be destroyed! So Mrs Frisby goes to the rats' home. They help her to move her house behind the rock. Also, in return Mrs Frisby helps the rats with their problem. This is a good book. It made me feel sad a bit at the end because Mrs Frisby has to say goodbye to the rats.
