When Pip the mouse sees a bat flying over his home, he has a big idea – when he grows up, he’s going to be a BAT!
Pip makes himself some cardboard wings, and prepares for take-off. But flying is harder than it looks. Sleeping upside down isn’t easy either, and what on earth do bats eat?
It’s not long before Pip makes friends with a real bat… and decides he’d rather be a mouse after all! But he still really, really wants to fly. Pip’s new friend comes to the rescue and flies him all the way home.
All is well until Pip has another big idea. When he grows up, he’s going to be a mole!
This Storytime title is perfect for children who are enthusiastic about what they’ ll become when they grow up.

The mouse's pretend bat wings didn't work. It had some scary parts. The bat offered the mouse a moth. The bat was kind to the mouse.
Because he tried to fly
It was a fun book the mouse wanted to be a bat but he didn’t like to eat moths. But wanted to fly like a bat .
He pretended to be a bat and that was brilliant
Henry liked the bit when he says he wants to be a mole at the end. And when he wants to be a bat.

Not as good as his other book I've read, but good story nevertheless and I enjoyed the pictures
I like that there is a mouse who is trying to be a bat. I like the pictures, the mouse is quite cute.

It's good because there is a picture of him with wings but they're fake and there is another picture of him and he looks like a mole.

I would recommend it to nursery children because it's a really nice book about a mouse called Pip who wants to be a Batmouse. He meets a bat and has lots of fun.
I like it because when Pip sees an animal he says that when he grows up he wants to be like that animal. It’s a fiction book and I would recommend it to everyone.
Really fun story. Mouse wants to be like a bat then he decides to be something else. You should try it.
First he wanted to be a bat when he’s older but now he wants to be a mole when he’s older.
When he lands on his bottom
The mouse wanted to fly to begin with like a bat but after he wanted to be a digging mouse like a mole. I like this story it’s a fictiin story. If I could choose to be an animal I’d be a butterfly.
I think the mouse called Pip is funny because he keeps changing his mind about what he wants to be when he gets older.
I like this fiction book because pip is a bit like me.
