As I had read maze runner, book 1 I had to read the next one.Theres five books in total and it never fails to impress me,With the amount of suspense, plot twists and adventure I recommend it to people who like watching zombie movies or so on.
Yas loved it
Such a good book. great sequel to the first. full of plot twists. Really recommend.
I liked Thomas and i would totally rate this to another person 5 stars out of 5 star
Really suspenseful. Very Exciting. I loved it.
A brilliant sequel full of betrayal and intrigue.
WOW- this story just keeps getting better can't believe what Teresa did but anyway ma favorite character is probably Thomas, Newt, Minhoe and Brenda.
The book was at the same level as it`s original, The Maze Runner. The mystery of Thomas's past continues, and it becomes more and more puzzling with every dream.
This is an brilliant adventure book, which I just couldn`t put down.
It's definitely worth reading yourself, I felt really involved in the book, there was a lot of twists, lots of suprises, and in some cases, I felt like I could relate to Thomas.
It is a great read and the ending shocked me so much, it starts great with a lot of confusion and starts right off with a sense of fear and I felt anxious for the gladers.
As it gets further on I began to feel more involved in the book, I felt almost as if I was in the book. I could picture everything that was going on and could feel what they felt.
Towards the end I felt myself relating to Thomas due to his constant betrayal and always able to forgive Teresa for what she does to him. Then at the ending he looses all trust in her but right at the end, he starts to trust her. Then ending has me relating to him more, he finally trusts her but the organisation behind the trials is called WICKED and that is who they are fighting against, this is what shocks me, because now I'm believing that maybe Teresa could be trust worth, and Thomas feels the same...
... The last words from Teresa right at the end are.. "WICKED is good"
This completely destroys me and I am filled with so much hate for her and Thomas will clearly feel the same towards her, but deep down, I know he will forgive her and I believe this will lead to a great downfall in Thomas and I also believe her constant betrayal, will be her downfall and inevitably die.
MAZE RUNNER THE SCORCH TRIALS is an amazing book and is definitely worth the read, I highly recommend you read it and I believe you would enjoy Thomas's travels across the Scorch and his character development.
Gripped me till the end!
Can't wait to start reading the next one.
Why were cliffhangers invented!
I though that the book was interesting.
My favourite character was Thomas.
I would recommend this to other people.
good book
really interesrtimng
My favourite book in the series. I love the part when they found Jorge and Brenda.
this is a very good book for people who read fiction but it does not talk about the maze a lot which was the original theme of the series.
This book is one of my favourite series’s and is a wonderful book 2 to the maze runner. It’s exciting, sad and funny. I recommend the whole series.
It was really exiting s as and you never knew what would happen next
I love this series and am glad i finished this book
This sequel to the Maze Runner has captured the same essence of adventure as the first book and has pulled me in all the way through. I was disappointed when it ended and can't wait to read the next book. I recommend this book to readers who like sci-fi adventure stories.
I really like this book because of the plot and I'm a fan of the Hunger Games.
I found the book thrilling and interesting and the best part was the betrayal part because I was so sad and angry and then its like Teresa started out as my favourite to worst character. I loved it because it was like they knew about WICKED and it made the trials more exciting. I love the ending of the book the most because it leaves Teresa and Thomas's characters in pending, Making us think that the original character portrayals are real or just a lead for a bigger plot twist.
In this book there are two groups one of which is supposed to kill him but doesnt.
It has lots of twists and is a really good read
It is very good and I hope people who like the maze runner series would like this book!
I like this book because you never know what is going to happen and the story always seems to be on edge and you never know if they'll make it out alive. I think the most tense part was when they where in the tunnel with creepy voices, people dropping dead like flies and never knowing when it will end. My favourite character in this story is Brenda because she is always so adventurous and never seems to be scared of anything.
The writer of this book spent too much of the book on bits that didn't need it. My favourite character is Minho
I would recommend this to other people because you think the characters are free but they begin the scorch trials.
Didn’t really like this. Slow start. A bit awkward. Love the movie though!
In my opinion, this is an amazing book but I would definitely recommend reading the 1st book before this one, if you don't then it would spoil the series. As I said, amazing book. So exciting to read. It made me want to read the rest of this series.
It's a really interesting book and I would recommend reading after you have read the first one which is called "The Mazerunner" and is also by James Dasher. There are two sequels to The Mazerunner, and the scorch trials is one of them. There is also a prequel, meaning that there are a total of four books in this series.
This is the second maze runner book and it is rubbish
