There has never been anybody quite like Mr Busy. He could do things almost ten times as fast as ever you or I could.

It all started with a tickle. Roger Hargreaves’ son Adam asked him what a tickle looked like. In response, Roger drew a small orange man with extraordinarily long arms that could reach anywhere and tickle anyone. Mr Tickle, the first of the Mr Men, was born. Mr Tickle was soon joined by Mr Greedy, Mr Happy, Mr Nosey, Mr Sneeze and Mr Bump. The books were an instant hit and Roger went on to create many more Mr Men and Little Miss characters. What Roger really wanted was to make children laugh, which is probably why his own favourite character is Mr Silly.

A class favourite and one that benefits most from being read aloud. Changing the speed of voice from Mr Busy to Mr Slow increases the humour of the story and the excitement of the children when reading.
I like how he took Mr Slow on a picnic and how Mr Slow talks.
I would recommend this book.
Mr slow was hiding from Mr busy under the bed
Mr Busy was a bit bothersome to Mr Slow. Quite annoying really.

He is always busy.
i think it is funny when mr. busy beats mr. slow in a race to the picnic and mr. busy eats all the food and there was no point for mr. slow to have a picnic with mr. busy because he is to slow to get there. Why did mr. slow agree with mr. busy?
He is always busy and rushing around just like my mum
He is always rushing and that is why he is called Mr busy. It is frustrating because he never gets to do the right thing cause he’s always rushing. You always leave the door open and makes a mess

I liked the bit at the end because Mr Slow hid beneath the table and normally he is really slow and wen Mr Busy came to his house he would normally be in bed.
But he wasn't there.

This book is funny and shocking because Mr Slow didn’t get out of bed until 9:00 in the mornings!
It's a little bit short but I like it. Super quick read.
I think Mr Slow was way too slow and Mr Busy was too fast!

I loved it because Mr. Busy always wakes up early and brushes his teeth and then clean his home top to bottom and takes a bath and makes his breakfast while Mr. Slow still sleeps.

This is such a funny story! Mr Busy never relaxes and someone in the book finds him annoying! The opposite characters in this story makes me glad not to be like any of them!
