Our book group Joined the Race and read this for The Clifton Chronicles library promotion.
Overall the group quite enjoyed the book and thought it was very easy to read. They found some of the characters a bit shallow,predictable and unbelievable.
They thought that Jeffrey Archer can certainly spin a tale with each chapter finishing with a cliff hanger which made you want to read more. The book finished also with a cliff hanger presumably to make you read the rest of the series. Only Time Will Tell felt similar in style to Kane and Abel but not nearly as good.
