Jane Eyre ranks as one of the greatest and most perennially popular works of English fiction. Although the poor but plucky heroine is outwardly of plain appearance, she possesses an indomitable spirit, a sharp wit and great courage.
She is forced to battle against the exigencies of a cruel guardian, a harsh employer and a rigid social order. All of which circumscribe her life and position when she becomes governess to the daughter of the mysterious, sardonic and attractive Mr Rochester.
However, there is great kindness and warmth in this epic love story, which is set against the magnificent backdrop of the Yorkshire moors. Ultimately the grand passion of Jane and Rochester is called upon to survive cruel revelation, loss and reunion, only to be confronted with tragedy.

Beautiful gothic classic, I identified a lot with Jane and her self doubts. I found Rochester difficult to reconcile- particularly after finding out about his wife. Reminded me a lot of Rebecca.
Always loved this book. Studied it at school for English Literature. Loved the toughness of Jane and how she stands up for her principles. She is undaunted by the power of Rochester and is a true friend to those in need.
I love reading this book
Apparently, this is a very famous book and it's a book for adults and kids. The writer used a bit of old writing and the description of the characters are very good

Really interesting and lots of adventures and sad story
Great book, really enjoyable
It is a great book with a great plot. It can just get a bit wordy and hard to follow at times. It is one of the best classic books ever
Loved this book I couldn't put it down.
Good book. Arguably one of the best classics
A brilliant first person narrative from mid-Victorian England, which has become culturally significant because of its feminist, no-holds-barred heroine, Jane, and her love affair with the 'beast' to her 'beauty': Edward Rochester.
Loved it! Every single bit of it. It just was touching and i loved the movie too.
I enjoyed this book and I really liked it.
Good biography about her in a written story!!!
Good book for older readers!
Jane Eyre is a classic tale of love, friendship and rivalry. The story is about a 10 year old girl (at the beginning) and it expands over the course of the book as Jane meets friends, lovers and pupils. Though it is long and challenging, and is a little hard to grasp if you haven't read books of that period before, Jane Eyre is perfect for those who are tired of books that are firmly rooted in the 21st century. Though it was written well over 100 years ago, Charlotte Bronte's masterpiece endures to the present day.
This story made me feel quite sad and at the same time happy, please read to find out why 👍
AMAZING BOOK!
It was about Jane Eyre - a story based on her life. I think if you read it, you'll love it because you'll learn some facts about her.
It really good!
There is both happiness and sadness.
amazing classical
well why not? i know its old fashioned but its my fave book and has been for a while. the underlying romance is a brilliant twist. i don't give much for the begining but the end where they both accept each other for who they are is seriously romantic
It's beautifully classic.
Ah! Jane Eyre, it was a very old-fashioned book, I'm guessing, although I really did enjoy it. The way she talked to the teacher was incredible. I definitely would have kept my mouth zipped. The Grace Stooke part startled me quite. The horrendous laughing was --- horrendous! very shocking and loud. 4/5
because it's an amazing book! and the story will make you to realise about love and age!
a really good story
Because it is a classic love story .
