This book is fun and I would give this book FIVE STARS!
I love lions
When I first picked up the book, I thought let's give it a go and now I love it. I read it in year 6 and when I left primary school I had to give it back to the school library but because I was a librarian the teacher let me keep it. It now sit proudly on my book shelf.
This book is about a boy who found a white lion but in the end the lion dies so they bury it at the top of the hill putting a chalk picture of it and butterfly's are now sorounding it
because it really sets a scene when you start reading it
I didn't like it because it made no sense
bit boring good ending though
Excellent read but a bit sad in parts.
Its really exciting and a bit emotional
This is a QUEEN book evryone shouid read it its got everything.
It has lots of care in it and comfort.
I liked the ending because when the chalk got wet the butterfly's came down and drank the water and they flapped their wings and that's why they called it the butterfly lion.they met the lion at the watering hole also.
