A Tale of Two Cities

The author's writing is memorable and moving. He wrote in a dramatic way.
It was very moving. I attribute many positive feelings to reading it. I would like recommend this book to anybody who enjoys reading novels.

this book was interesting and a bit sad and tells a tale of the french revolution.A really great book.

I like this story because it was very interesting. And when you start to read it you will want to read more. Its about England and France. Doctor Mannete and Lucie Mannete has to go to England because there is war in France.

You will definatley like this if you like adventure, a little tiny bit of blood and... Bravery...

Another good Charles Dickens book.

I think others should read this book as it is a very tragic yet so humorous of a story. Charles Dickens, similarly to his other books, made a nice link between the characters.

The book is set in the French Revolution, a time where aristocrats and the monarchy was being overthrown, and London, both cities vividly depicted with blood and famine.

At first, there is a man called Mr Lorry who saves the miserable Dr Manette from his imprisonment, and 5 years on, with help from Dr Manette's wonderful daughter, he is back to his old self. Soon, another person, Charles Darnay gets married to her and Charles' lookalike, Sydney, is wallowing... When Charles (who is the son of one of the brothers who locked Dr Manette up in the first place) goes back to France, he gets himself into a whole lot of trouble. However, Sydney - that comic character - comes to the rescue, sacrificing himself for Charles using a few tricks...

Overall, it was a fabulous book and I would encourage others to read it.

It's interesting

It is quite sad but there are some happy moments, if you are interested in the French Revolution this is the book for you!
