This is a fantastic series of books, all written by different authors. The Emperor's Code is the 8th in the series and continues to follow Dan and Amy Cahill as they travel around the world trying to unearth the 39 Clues that form part of their family history. Unfortunately, other family members are trying to stand in their way and so this is packed with action, drama and family feuds. This book is set mainly in China - each one is set in a different place and while reading the story you learn a little about the culture, history and famous landmarks of the place.
A really good series that you don't get bored of - they work really well as audiobooks.
