I loved that at the end of every chapter, there was a cliffhanger that made you want to read more. It has got to be one of my favourite books I have ever read. The book gave me a visualisation of what is going on. It was tricky enough to be a challenge but easy enough for me to understand what was going on and to think it was a good book.
It was amazing. I read it in a day and am really enjoying the second one. I recommend it to anyone who isn’t easily scared. It’s set in America in the future in a dystopian world.
At first I found it overwhelming and sinister but I could not put it down, the plight for justice after oppression and humans at their worst with a reminder of good radiating through it all. Truly epic!
This book’s genre is horror but it’s really exciting , it’s not really good for children under 12. I really liked the main characters, Katniss and Primrose Everdeen the sisters. I mainly got attached to this book because the book is better than the film and I’ve watched the film so I wanted to read the book
The fictional book was very intense, and have a lot of actions in it. Recommend for readers who like action novels.
I loved this book so much. I liked Katniss the best. This book was full of adventure and suspense.I would definitely recommend it to someone.
Very exciting
My favourite character was rue…it was very sad when she died
I recommend to 13 and above
I greatly enjoyed The Hunger Games as it gave me the sense of adventure and action that I enjoy in a fiction book. My favourite character was the protagonist of the story Katniss Everdeen, who makes us perceive the world in a different light. I loved watching her bravery and loyalty play out before my eyes and reading this book was really enjoyable and I can’t wait to read the rest of the books in this series.
I really liked the dark story of this book
Excellent
I couldn't put it down!
Loved the female protagonist and the dystopian story line. Kat mess is someone many people can identify with in their own struggles in life! Great book!
Amazing
Brilliant story
I would recommend this book and the whole series.
It was very tense reading it.
I loved the action and fantasy of this story. It had an amazing storyline and was different to other books I've read!
Amazing
nerve raking and exciting couldn't put down the book
Gripping and well told
I love the this dystopian book so much as it is an incredible romance, actions and thriller! My favourite character is Peeta Mellark because he is really sweet, calm and gentle with everyone! I would definitely recommend this to someone as it is a classic book and one of the best dystopian books out there!
This book really hooks you. I enjoyed it a lot but not my usual style of book.
I would recommend this to people who like thrillers, cliffhangers, romance, and many more topics. This is a book about survival, when Katniss Everdeen takes her sisters place in the reaping of the Hunger Games (A Live Television where children are thrown in an arena to fight or die) and she and the other tribute from district 12 fool all of Panem. Very excited to read number 2!
I liked it because the survival in the arena was thrilling. The character I liked best was Thresh because he was strong and silent. i would recommend this book to people who are aged 10 plus.
My favourite character was Peet Mellark because he was really sweet and kind to everyone. I would reccommend it to someone because there is romance, death and it's a dystopian.
I loved the dystopian world Katniss Evergreen grew up in and can't wait to read more.
Brilliant story!
